The next morning I wake up wrapped in Masons arms with a pounding headache. I look down and realise I'm only wearing one of Masons shirts although I have no memory of getting changed into it.

Mason begins to kiss down my neck as he presses me into the bed, hovering over me. I let out a quiet moan, encouraging him to climb on top of me. Let's just say I was feeling a whole lot better after that.

"Well good morning." I laugh as we catch our breath.

"Morning." He breathes out, clearly panting slightly. "How are you feeling?" He questions already knowing my answer.

"Well aside from the last forty minutes, I feel like death." I groan, careful not to offend his ego.

"You look like it as well." He jokes referring to the fact my hair is a mess and I didn't take my makeup off last night.

"Says you." I snort extremely unattractively as I sit up.

"Point proven." He laughs as he kisses me once more. I lean across and pick up my phone to check the time and am surprised to see so many notifications. I've been tagged in hundreds of posts and comments along with a few missed calls from dad and Alice.

I quickly browse through the posts to see a photo of Mason and I last night has gone viral. Some of the comments are quite harsh, calling me a slut or accusing Mason of leading me astray.

"What is it babe?" Mason asks, noticing my mood change. It suddenly hits me that this is going to effect him just as much as me, if not more. I read through the comments about him and quickly stop before he sees. A lot of them think he's just using me for attention or that he was looking to get into my pants. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of positive comments but the negatives are always highlighted more.

"I'm sorry Mason, I should have known this would happen." I tell him as I show him the photo on my phone.

"That is a good shot, even if I do say so myself." To my surprise, he just laughs it off and doesn't look into it any further.

"You're famous now." I joke as I kiss his lips, crawling onto his lap.

"Aren't I lucky." He mocks as he looks me up and down while I straddle his lap. "If you don't get up and get dressed, I dont think we'll ever make it back to campus today." He complains as his hands rest at the top of my thighs.

"If you insist." I groan in dissapointmrnt as I get off the bed. I have a quick shower to make myself feel better before getting dressed into some comfy clothes and heading downstairs with Mason.

"You two had a good night then." Richard jokes and I realise he's obviously seen the picture as well.

"Oh leave them alone, they're allowed some fun." Linda playfully slaps his arm.

"Have you seen Macey, you're all over the internet." Maddie comes in as she gives him a giant hug.

"Yes I have, your big bro is going viral." He laughs getting her even more excited.

"I just need to make a quick phone call." I excuse myself and make my way outside, pacing the garden as I wait for dad to pick up.

"You're alive then." Dad mocks as he answers.

"Look dad I know how bad it looks, just let me explain." I plead without even bothering to say hello.

"Brooke have you read what people are saying? 'The slut let's loose' and 'Brooke goes off the rails' to quote a few.

"I know, I know. Please you need to try and get Mason left out of this story as much as possible. He doesn't deserve it." I try hopefully but it's no use.

"He took you out and got you wasted, he deserves all he gets if you ask me." Dad scoffs.

"Come on dad, you met mum when she was my age. Surely you can understand, we were just on a date. I didn't think it would end up all over the internet." I try to make him see it from my point of view.

"Don't bring mum into this. There's nothing I can do about this Brooke you're just going to have to deal with it and learn your lesson." He hangs up and I head back inside with a frustrated groan.

"Daddy." I tell Mason with an eye roll when he questions who it was.

"How did that go?" He laughs at the thought of what sort of bollocking I got.

"Terribly, I'm the worst daughter on the planet." I smile mockingly as I take a sip of the tea he made me.

"It's alright you can't be good at everyhing." He laughs earning a glare from his mum.

"Oh and Maddison, I have a bone to pick with you." Mason suddenly turns his attention to his little sister who looks to me for help.

"What did I do?" She asks innocently.

"If I tell you a secret about someone, you're not meant to go telling the person." He glares at her and she twigs what he's referring to.

"But she needed to know. It's ok though she loves you too." Maddie responds with a smile, hoping to wiggle her way out of it.

"I know." He laughs and flicks her head gently as she walks past.

"What time are you two off then?" Linda asks looking at her watch.

"Urrm," Mason looks at me for guidance "About eleven ish I think." He tells her with a shrug.

"Right before you go, Brooke I want you to put my number in your phone." She announces before giving me her number and I add it immediately. "Call me anytime, for anything. I mean it. You're part of the family now." She tells me with a hug.

"Thank you, I'll text you so you have mine." I respond with a warm smile.

"Right guys enough of the blabbering, we've got to get packing." Mason groans as he pulls me upstairs by the arm.

"I'm going to miss your family." I tell him once we're upstairs. In the week I've been here, they've made me feel so welcome and like I'm one of them.

"You heard Mumma Hill, you're part of the family now." He chuckles as he leans down to kiss me.
