“Class your first semester on your last year here in this University is coming to an end” anunsyo ni Ms. Dalia, Professor namin sa MASrev at Dean ng Accountancy Program dito sa Maximillian University.

“So I am expecting that you’ve already finished complying to all your major subjects, because once your grades were finalized and released you have to choose where you want to spend your practicum para maayos na namin ang lahat ng kakailanganin ninyo and of course para makagraduate na kayo” walang tigil na sabi ng propesor.

The four corners of classroom were already full of buzzed from my classmates who were already on fussed because of what Dean said.

I just chose to ignore my classmates who were talking about their plans for their practicum.

I need to concentrate para wala akong detalyeng malimutan, because I really want to graduate as soon as possible. There’s no room for mistake. I don’t want to slack of, dahil sa hindi ko naiintindihan ang gagawin.

I currently taking Bachelor of Science in Accountancy here at Maximillian University. Honestly, this wasn’t really my dream program. But I had no choice but to take this because of my Parents.  I am only child so I need to follow my parent’s footsteps and eventually pay back to them. My Mom is already a CPA but she didn’t really practice her profession because she had to take care our family specially when I was brought forth on this world. I really admired her for that. While my Dad is a CPA Lawyer. He’s the reason why I have I decent life and was able to study in a very well-of University. Everything we have is the product of my parent’s hard work. This is the reason why I need to Graduate, take CPALE, passed the board exam and finally get my license as a Certified Public Accountant.

“Pwede bang sumabay?”

“S-sige” nauutal kong tugon. I’m very aloof to my classmates not because I don’t like them, but because I just feel awkward talking to them. I’m not in the same age bracket with them plus I am an irregular student so sometimes I feel like I’m not belong.

“San mo planong magapply for our Practicum?” biglang tanong ni Charlene habang kasabay kong naglalakad patungong cafeteria.

“H-Ha?”

“Sabi ko, San mo balak mag OJT?”

“Not yet sure, maybe one of the firms nearby lang.” tipid kung tugon at ibinalik ko ang aking tingin sa may hallway.  I chose to give a safe answer kasi ayaw ko pang humaba ang aming pag-uusap. Though, I already have one in mind.

I still have three hours before my next class kaya marami pa akong oras na pwedeng ubusin.
