I was quite astonish to what he just said. Ano daw magtimpla nang kape? For your fucking information I am not your secretary!
"E-Excuse me, Sir?" napipigilan kong tugon.
"I said, can you make me a coffee." nakanguso nyang tugon habang nakaturo sa may pantry area ng kanyang opisina.
"Hmm,last time I checked, I applied here as an intern not someone's secretary. SIR!" punong puno na pagkasarkasmo kong tugon.
My astonishment soared even high when he nonchalant burst into laughter after what I said.
"Sir, are you for real? First, you ask an intern to make a coffee, then you suddenly burst into laughter at ngayon hindi kayo makausap na matino. Are you sure you work here?
He suddenly composed himself after hearing what I said.
"Oh, I'm quite offended here, Ms. Balderama, first of all, I was just joking of you making my coffee, so It was really hilarious to see your face with 'wtf look', and lastly I really work here, you may check it on the HR if you really doubt my credentials. Whether you like or not I am a C...P....A.." mahaba nyang sagot na may pagmamalaki pa.
"Oh, Sorry for that Sir, I wasn't informed that the employees here were jokers and babble nonsense around."
"Hey, Ms. Balderama, all employees here are the most competent and most professional in the business, so I guess you're having a wrong impression on us."
"Eh, bakit ikaw?" hindi ko makapaniwalang tugon.
"Well, let's just say I am an exemption here. But I am really a CPA." sabay dukot nya sa kanyang bulsa ng kanyang wallet at mabilis na nilabas ang kanyang lisensya na nagpapatunay na sya ay CPA. He extend her arm on me and handing me his licence. I look on his hand but I refuse to get his licence.
"No need to brag your title Sir, I know you're a certified accountant here so better keep that in your wallet and behave like one."
"Ok. Sinabi mo eh." Natatawang nyang sabi habang may kindat kindat pang nalalaman habang binabalik ang kanyang lisensya sa kanyang wallet.
I was intently looking on the person whose speaking in front for today's orientation of new interns here at Villarama Accounting Firm. It was nearly an hour since he started yet I felt like he just begun a few minutes ago. He's very eloquent and you can see his professionalism while he's briefing us of what to do while we are here. Iilan lang kaming mga bagong interns but I guess ay may mga nauna nang nagsimula. I was sitting in front of this small audio visual room. Mga sampung katao rin lang ang nandito. Seven are interns while others are employees here.
She was also hired as an intern but she was notified through a call back. I wasn't really surprised na she was actually hired.
