Life was never easy on me. Every day I had to be strong and firm so that nothing can sway me. I was raised to be tough so that no one would messed me up. I had adversities and triumphs that made me to what and who I am today. I am a fighter and I already won different battles. I would say that I wasn't lucky because every fight I've won was purely because of my toughness and bravery. Because of that, people was always intimated by my presence and no one dares to approach me. Charlene was an exception though because she was just like that, careless and tactless. No one has ever made fun of me until I bumped to that clumsy man and self proclaimed professional.
It's been days since I moved in Sir Kennedy's team. There weren't really any difference from my supposedly team except that people here are much more energetic and loud. The work ambience is much lighter and they were always smiling like they're not minding their work at all. I don't know if its
they're just like that or because the leader himself is hilarious and loud. There are seven members on this team. Three are interns and the others were all employees here. They seem to know each other already because they were comfortably talking to each other. I was just quietly doing some stuffs while they're also working while talking over things. I ignored them as I work on my paper.
"Ms. Balderama, Please get ready, sasama ka sakin sa isang cooperative to do some monthly auditing."
I was startled to what Sir Kennedy has said. Dirediresto syang naglakad palabas ng opisina at wala akong nagawa kundi and sundan siya. I quietly fix my things and followed him.
"Sir, I still have so many things to do, can you bring someone instead me?" I still have loads of things to finish so I do'nt think its a good idea na sumama ako sa kanya.
The elevator opened and he got inside not minding my question. "You can still do what you have to do some other time.
I huff a sigh when I entered the elevator and look to Sir Kennedy whose looking on the door of the elevator.
"I don't think na busy sila, they're just chatting nonsense habang nagtatrabaho, why do you need to insist that I should go with you!" asik ko sa kanya na ngayon ay may ngisi na naman sa kanyang mukha.
"But S-sir,.." natatahimik kong tugon.
Mabilis syang sumakay habang ako'y nakatingin lamang."Come on! Get in, malayo pa ang pupuntahan natin!" sigaw ni Sir Kennedy nang ibaba nya ang bintana ng kanyang kotse.
