chapter 14

"Oi why are you crying?"

Somebody asked me. I wiped my tears put the box that the kind police gave me earlier behind. I looked up and saw a boy standing in front of me carrying a tissue in his hand. I did not answer him and continue to sob.

"I said, why are you crying?!" The boy once again asked and this time I looked at him.

"My mom's dead! My dad is dead! My sister is currently training to be a scout and she couldn't even attend and be with me for my mom's funeral! Are you happy now?!" I shouted at him

He sat down beside me and handed me the tissue he was carrying

I took it and wipe all the tears that Is falling in my face.

"Who else would be happy if their parents are dead?-" He stopped

I looked at him and listened carefully

"Both of my parents were eaten by titan, and I'm the only one who were able to survive. How about you?" He asked

I'm surprised that he was able to tell his story without being a little too emotional.

"My dad was eaten by a titan..... my mom  was murdered by a gang. So basically I'm an orphan now and there's no one to take care of me, feed me, and love me" I replied

I then once again cried very hard but this time, he tried to comfort me by massaging my back using his hands.

"There is someone who would take care of you"

I stopped crying

"Huh?"

"I'm currently living in an orphanage  where there is alot of orphan kids like us was being taking care of some pastors and something like that" he said

He got up and he handed his hand in front of me

"Do you want to come with me?"

I looked at his hand and his face carefully. I grabbed the box beside me, shake his hand and nod at him.

He smiled then we both ran and went to the orphanage

"Shhh don't cry, don't worry I'm here"
Kim still continue to calm me down but still, it doesn't work

We then felt the shaking stopped. Kim let me go then saw the doors slowly opened and alot of people behind the door staring at us worriedly.

But, I didn't saw Levi
Why is he not here?

"Sir! Maam! Are you both alright?"

A man entered the elevator and started to throw alot of question for the both of us.

"Yes, why is the elevator started shaking?! Can't you see you're all putting our lives in danger! We almost lost our lives because of that stupid malfunction in your machine!" Kim started to rant

I have no words...
Why is he not here?

Kim looked at my emotionless face.

"(Y/n) are you okay?" Kim asked

I looked at him faintly and smile

"You're not okay, come here"

He began to help me got up and escorted me out in the crowd and went to a nearby convenient store.
