"Paging Dra. (Y/n) (L/n) please proceed to room 207 immdiately"

As soon as I heared that announcement, I slowly open the door of the room that I was supposed to in. And there i saw Kim, a nurse, and a patient which is full of bandages. I can even hear the patients groan whenever he moves here in the door.

Poor thing.. it must've hurt alot

"Why did you call me? Sasha said to me you have a date with her today.." my brows furrowed and crossed my arms together

"Just take a look at this.." he went to me and show me an Xray of the patient using his tablet on both of his hands.

I took the tablet away from him and I zoomed at the picture. After a minutes of observing the picture, I already know what's wrong with the patient's ankle. He has a Fractured ankle. The X-ray clearly shows that one of his bone on his ankle, broke.

I gave back the tablet to Kim "It's really easy Kim! You already know that he has a fratured ankle!" I throwed a small punch on his chest.

"I'm just joking, (y/n).." he chuckled "I mean, you just came back from the scout department, and of course as your best friend, I missed you" he smiled at me and dive in to give a tight hug

If Levi would see this, he would probably  already lost his mind.

"Right.." he said in a low voice

"Hmm..?" I asked

"There's been a rumour that you and Commander Levi are getting married, is it true?" He asked

As soon as I heared Kim say that to my face, my smile eventually faded. Our daughter is already big enough for us to get married already but whenever I always bring this topic to him, he would always change the topic, giving me a sign that he still don't want to get married with me. It's his decision after all so I don't have a right to hate it, I have no but to accept it.

If he's not ready yet, I'll wait for him just like how he waited for me before.

We parted at our hug and looked at each other faces. He has been my bestfriend ever since Ilaria was born. He would help me understand what's wrong with my daughter and he would also help me whenever I have some medical exams. He also told me why he and his family left, it's not his fault, it's because he has no choice but to leave with his family.

"You guys won't get married?" His brows furrowed

I licked my bottom lip and pursed it before shaking my head. It's sad to believe but it's the reality.

He faked his laugh "Oh come on, Ilaria is already six years old! And you guys won't still get married?" He chuckled "That's sad, (y/n)"

I pursed my lips once again "I-i need to go now, my shift is over okay?" I stuttered

I tap his shoulder and nod at the nurse that he is with before once again going out of this room. I walked through all hallways of the hospital. All of the nurse smile and greet me whenever they see me. Most of the staffs here knows that me and Commander Levi of scouts  are together and already have a beautiful daughter.

"Oh hey! Future Mrs. Ackerman!" Nikka giggled while waving me from.afar at her own car. She's my closest colleague in the hospital. She is Levi's second cousin so that's why.

I opened my car and throw my very heavy bag inside before putting both of my hands on my hips and looked at her "Shut up!" I shouted jokingly

"Its true though! Are you going to get Ilaria on your friend's shop today?" She asked smiling
