When I See You Again (Tom Nook x Crazy Redd)

Chapter 7: It's a Revalation!

Potato kicks open the door with a basket of muffins in hand, Nook and Isabelle reacting in excitement,

"Ooh! Are you gifting us more pastries Potato? Those cookies you made previously were wonderful!" Nook says.

"They were, you should open a bake shop!" Isabelle says.

"These aren't for you, also, Isabelle i'm already doing a lot as resident representative, if I start a bake shop i'd have to drop everything, that and you'd have to start paying for them."

"Oh... ok, who are they for then, that being the case?" Nook asks, a bit saddened

"My brother! He's visiting for today, and imma give him these muffins!"

"So... you came to resident services to notify us?"

"Nope! I'm here to ask you to watch these."

"Why? Couldn't you just put it in your storage?"

"Nope. Redd keeps entering and eating the pastries I make from time to time, and as much as i'd like for him to eat these ones, I want my brother to eat them more."

"Ok, fair enough."

"Also, one last thing, under no circumstances are you to eat ANY of those muffins."

"Why not? There's a good amount, i'm sure he won't notice one missing."

"Just take my word for it, and if you eat one, i'll know."

Potato leaves the building, Nook sits back down at his desk, the two attempting to resist the urge to consume the muffins. 1 minute passes, and Nook is the first to break, he goes up to the basket and picks up one muffin,

"M-mister Nook! No! You can't! Potato will know!"

"It's good you have more self control miss Isabelle, where I do not. Send Potato my sincerest apologies."

"Nooooo!"

Nook bites in, enjoying his bite immensely,

"How's your bite of deceit? Mister Nook?" She asks accusingly.

"Delicious, soft, and tasty! It was so worth it!" Nook chews for a bit and then finishes the muffin on the second one, "Ooh, I feel all tingly and warm..."

Isabelle just lies down on the table and longingly stares at the muffins, she then looks at Tom Nook whom is looking rather high in temperature at the moment. He adjusts the collar,

"Hey, miss Isabelle, is it hot in here, or is it just me?"

"Um... no, all the windows are open..."

Nook begins breathing heavily,

"M-my tongue is starting to burn a little!"

"What do you mean?"

Nook starts to sweat a little, he rests on the table,

"I-it's -huff- h-hot!"

"Mister Nook, Are you ok?" Isabelle says, getting up.

Redd walks down a road that leads to the residential services area. Upon nearing the door, he hears some commotion coming from the building. He quickly opens the door to see Nook leaning on the table and Isabelle ready to catch him if he falls.

"Holy crap, Nook what happened?!" Redd asks concerned.

"Redd! I-I don't know, he ate one of the muffins and-and then this!"

"R-Redd... Help..." Nook walks over to Redd, falling into his arms,

"Don't worry Nook, we can help ya, just hold-" Redd then notices some details on Nook that causes his brain to malfunction.
