When I See You Again (Tom Nook x Crazy Redd)

Chapter 1: Rough Reunion.

In some apartment somewhere in the world in the middle of the night lives 2 inhabitants, a tanuki and a fox. The tanuki is working on a computer, running a small business,

The fox passes by and talks to him, "Hey Nook imma be gone for a bit ok? Gonna go out to buy stuff."

"O-oh, ok! Don't stay out for too long, i'm cooking steak for dinner."

"Don't worry! Haven't let you down yet didn't I?"

"No." They smile at each other then the fox exits the building.

That night, the Tanuki ate dinner alone.

We now return to said tanuki, this time, it's morning, and he is standing in a new room, fit with a decent bed and sufficient furniture, holding a framed picture of him with the fox, reminiscing of the time they were together. He sighs, and drags a hand across his face out of slight frustration at both the memories and the conflicts, he then puts away the picture frame into his pocket and exits his room to enter his office, with his assistant, a shih tzu named Isabelle, she appears to be dozing off a tad. He goes to say something, until the 2 doors in the front suddenly burst open loudly startling Isabelle awake.

The doors open to reveal a human wearing a sleeping mask, a blue cowboy jacket and a kilt, fit with a cowboy hat, "Howdy you two! How ya doin?!"

Isabelle takes a moment to recover from shock, Tom Nook responds,

"Oh, hello again Potato, here for more tickets, yes?"

"You know it!" He cheesily fires finger guns at him,

He activates the Nook Stop terminal and somehow selects the correct option regardless of his blindfold, only to find that he is out of Nook Miles,

"Just kidding! Imma just grab some cash and be outta your fur."

Potato get's a large sum of bells from the terminal and turns to walk to the door, till Tom Nook stops to question him,

"Wasn't that most of the money you were gonna use to pay off your debt? What sort of item requires that much money?"

Potato sheds a few drops of sweat and quickly gives an excuse to defuse the question,

"There's lots of cool stuff at the Cranny today! Also, there's some pretty cool digs at the tailor too... And most of my tools broke and i'm too lazy to craft the flimsy ones so..."

"That is true, alright then see you around!"

Potato moves over to the door only to be stopped by Tom Nook again,

"Oh, and... one more thing Potato, it's an odd request, but may I ask you to dispose of this somewhere? I was cleaning up my living quarters only to find this and... well, I don't really want it."

He hands him a picture frame of him and a familiar looking fox,

"Why not do it yourself?"

"Reasons."

"Mmh." He looks at the photo, "Oh! Hey its,"

Nook gives a perplexed look to Potato, he elaborates,

"Some guy i've never met before!"

He puts the picture frame in his back pocket then quickly leaves the building ,

"Be safe out there, yes?"

Tom returns to his paperwork while Isabelle calms down and starts to drift asleep again.

Meanwhile... Potato is jogging over to a far part of the Island climbing his ladder over a higher level of the island over to a hard to notice beach obscured by trees and other foliage, and on that beach, a run down boat with a rather shady looking fox chilling on the port bow. He looks up of the small cliff to see a silhouette of a peculiar gentleman he knows all too well,
