Rose's first time in town

After traveling through the woods we finally reached the town and already Rose was having second thoughts. I can it in her eyes as she looks left and right on the verge of tears. "Rose are you okay? You seem nervous." I asked her as I was concern for her. "I-I'm okay. But I guess I am a lil nervous. You being with me won't cause you trouble will sit Alex?" Rose said as her body trembled a little. Either because of her nervousness or that the cool night is causing her to tremble. "Are you cold rose?" I asked as it was my duty and in my human nature to care for those in need. "I-I'm okay. Maybe a lil cold though." Rose said trembling still so I take off my coat and put it on her to help keep her warm. "Does that help." I asked her while making sure it rest on her shoulder snuggly. "T-thank you but you didn't have to do that." She said while blushing bright red. While she thought you weren't looking you saw her sniffing your coat. I just smirked. If i didn't know any better or think she into me. We reached the bar and was greet by my captain and closes friends. "Alex! Who's the lovely girl. Your girlfriend~ hmm." Scott said teasingly which drew the others attention. "Hey! Alex who's this? Your secret lover?" Tom said while jabbing me in the ribs with his elbow. Rose blush bright red. "Guys stop this now or you'll find yourselves in bed wrapped in bandages from top to bottom. Am I clear" I said as I make fist threateningly so to stop the teasing that's making Rose uncomfortable as she hides behind me. "Okay okay. We'll stop Alex. But who is she really?" Tom asked while lossing sight of Sam. "Her name is Rose and she a lizard girl as you can see. A group of bandits were troubling her in the woods so I dealt with them and brought her here to get something to eat and maybe introduce her to you guys. Well that was the plan but I change my mind." Alex said teasing tom back while threatening him by placing my hand on my sword which he seems to got the hint. "Ok ok. I get it Alex. Just take your hand away from your sword. Okay?" Tom said nervously as he kept his eyes on my hand. I turn my attention from him and look around for a available table to sit and get food with drinks. After awhile I found a nice spot near the window and ordered the special of the day which was beef stew with apple pie on the side and a fine wine. Which isn't normally served with this until I was Tom give me a thumbs up. You little bastard! Wait when I get her settled and I get my hands on you! I thought as I eat and drink with Rose.

Sam pov

" Dammit! Those damn idiots! They couldn't even handle the girl nor that fool Alex! I would been paid handsomely for that lizard! What am I to tell that noble now." Sam said in a ally. Hmm. I could have some men watch her and try again when the moments right. If Alex ruins that then he gotta go, it just to bad he won't accept anything to look away. Oh well. He thought as he left the ally and went his way.

Rose pov

Wow! Everyone here are so nice. Even to me and they show sir Alex so much love and respect. How did he ever get himself entangled with me? And accusation of me being his girlfriend or lover! Oh my god! I must be a embarrassment to be near him. But thank goodness he put a stop to that with the truth. But I wonder why Tom look so nervous? Oh well, at least I'm safe here. At least I like to think that but Alex's friend Sam scares me for some reason. I don't know why though. Oh well, I must be imaging it. Dinner was good though but Alex seems mad about the wine. I look in the direction he was looking towards to see Tom smiling and giving Alex a thumbs up. I didn't understand until I put it together that Tom bought the wine for us as a gift for. . . oh my god! I can feel myself blush a darker red. He really think Alex and I are lovers! I got up and dashed away ashamed that I'm bringing such a good man shame just by eating with him. I left the bar Alex took me to and down the street then turn left into a dark ally without thinking about the danger. Only that I want to get away and not embarrass sir Alex any further than I already have. I kept on running until I bumped into something only to find that I bumped into scary man. "Eep?! I'm so s-sorry for bumping into you. I-I gotta go. Bye" Rose said as she try to get away only for the scary man to grab her hand and lifting her until they were at eye level with each which sadly for Rose the man is very tall and is hang in the air by her wrist which started to hurt. "Where you think your going? Hmm? Didn't you know you have a date with our client? Hehe" the scary man said with a mocking tone in his voice. But as this was going on Sam was hiding in the shadows in the ally smiling at his good fortune.

Sam pov

Well well well. It seems I'll be able to bring the product to that noble wanted after all. Just hope no one interfere with the deliver. Hehe.

Alex (pov)
As Sam celebrates in the shadows, Alex is in pursuit to finding Rose before it's to late. Where are you, Rose?! Where did you run off to? I gotta find her! I hope she didn't go into any of the dark allies. There's no telling who she'll bump into in places like those. Alex searched as fast as he could only to find a pink lizardmen tail. Alex recall that females are the ones with detachable tails. Which they do this in emergencies. Rose must be in danger! Damn it! I failed her as a knight and as a man! My only option to redeem myself is to find her and save her! No matter way!

Will Alex find rose in time? Will they see each other? What fate have plan for Rose? To be continued in part 3.
