Kat meet rose and the story of Alex past

After leaving Sam I immediately went towards Kat place to ask her to help heal rose of her wounds and scars. "Kat... Kat! Are you there?" I shout out while holding rose hand. She seem to calm down better when she hold my hand. "I'm coming! I'm coming! What is it now! Gasp! Get in here now!" Kat said after seeing the condition rose was in but then she glared at me. "Alex! How could you harm this poor defenseless girl! And you call yourself a knight! Come on. I'll fix you up and keep you safe from that horrible beast." Kat said but not without showing me a smirk. She's playing one of her pranks again. Well as long as rose gets healed I don't mind her little games. I smiled and waited in the living room for them.

Kat pov

Hehe. I'm sure he knows I'm playing around by now and is waiting for us like a good knight. Now my chance to see what their relationship is with each other. "Umm. Miss Kat? Sir Alex didn't harm me. It was Sam who inflicted these wounds so please don't think badly of him. He's my savior." Rose said without meaning to she showed how much in love she is with Alex. Poor girl, I better tell her what I know about him with her. "Would you like to know Alex better? Cause I know a little bit about his past. If your curious." I said hanging the bait in front of her. Let see if you take the bait. Hehe. "I-I think I should let sir Alex tell me. I don't want to pry into his past without first getting his permission." Rose said honestly, I couldn't see any sign of deceit in her eyes. She was serious about letting him tell her. How the he'll did he come across such a pure and honest girl? Hehe. "Well sweetie it'll take a long time until he feels comfortable telling you. Can you wait that long for him?" I said so she doesn't get discouraged by how long it may be until Alex tell her about it. " I'll wait however long. I don't mind waiting forever for that day." Rose said adamant about waiting for him. But the moment she said that Alex walked in the living room. "Kat. Why don't you tell her. I don't mind her knowing. Just so long as she keep what she learn to herself I don't mind. So long as you keep to the facts and not add any fiction." Alex said standing in the doorway. "Really?! Are you really okay with me learning about your past?" Rose said excited but unsure if she should be learning about Alex's past. Alex smiled and nodded his head, giving the okay. "Well now that we got his okay let's start with the facts that Alex was a noble at one point in his life." I said as rose was shocked to learn this but she stayed quiet so to hear more. "As it is known that nobles treat their servants like objects, Alex family treated theirs like family but only in private and not in front of other nobles cause it's looked down on to treat servants things and nothing else, it's especially so with non humans. But he's family didn't care about that. They love their servants and treat them well and the servants felt the same way about them. Now the interesting thing is that they each favored certain species of non humans. His father favored beasts like cat, fox, and dog girls. His mother vampires and the like. Alex favored dragons and reptiles." I said which I caught rose looking down trying to hide her blushing face. Aww cute. "But it didn't take long for their secret to come to light. Which our boy Alex was caught by a guest's kid who later told their parents that Alex was giving a n.h. servant a birthday gift. It then lead to black mail, extortion, and then finally the destruction of his family as the other nobles sent mercenaries to kill them. But the servants wouldn't allow it and gave their lives for them. Only for Alex to escape while his parents were betrayed by a greedy servant who of course was human. Later it was announced the Alex parents were killed by bandits and Alex was no where to be found. He then changed he's name and became a knight we know now. I don't know his real name is and I won't so don't ask him to tell you. That boy is long gone." I said after finishing telling Alex story. Rose of course burst into tears and tackled Alex hugging him tightly. "Waaah! How awful! I'm so sorry for your loss sir Alex! Waaah!" Rose said in between fits of tears and whaling. While she was crying her heart out for him. He just stood there patting and rubbing her back like a child that needs calming down. "It's okay rose. It's in the past now and look who I become. Now if I could I would like to change it but then I wouldn't of met you. I can't forget to mention meeting Kat and the others. I'm also repaying a old debt to n.h. knights who found me and saved me." Alex said as he continue to rub rose head like he was far away from here. He probably thinking about the knights that helped him in exchange for their lives. "What happened to those knights? Are they here?" Rose asked curious like a child. "After finding me and helping escape my parents fate, they were later stripped of their rank and titles and executed. It so happens that they were non-human knights. They knew of my parents kindness towards their kind and wanted to return that kindness. That was the end of the n.h. knights. Which is why I became a knight. So to repay them and protect n.h. like you." Alex said now realizing that he been rubbing rose head and stopped. While he wasn't looking he noticed rose looking kinda disappointed that it couldn't continue a little bit longer.
Feeling guilty about it he resumed petting her head which Rose then lean her head on his chest. "So what your plans for Rose? Keep her at your place or help her find a place and a job?" Kat asked conserned for Rose future. "Hmm. I'll ask around to see if anyone wouldn't mind hiring her" Alex said still petting rose's head. Not noticing that she starting to fall asleep as he continues petting her. "Why don't you have work here? After all you know me and I could use the help around my store. Plus with my magic I can keep her safe for you plus I got a spare bedroom for her to sleep in." Kat said nonchalantly offering Alex a solution to rose's living arrangements. All while holding the sleeping Rose in his arms. "Thank you Katherine." Alex said while instinctively dodging a aero ball flying towards his head with a grin on his face. "Alex! You know I don't like you using that name!" Kat said angrily as Alex left her home and leaving rose in her care.
