"Slowly Arzoo, you're gonna drop it all down" Jiya shouted to Arzoo as she carried her Accounting books to her table she had just cleaned. "Finally we're done with it all!" Jiya took a sigh of relief as she put everything down in great order. "Nope not yet, we've still got a last box of all utensils downstairs." Arzoo said as she wiped off a drop of sweat on her forehead. "Ok, I'll get it don't worry." Jiya said as she let a little giggle out of Arzoo so call tiredness. She took the elevator and headed down where the last medium sized box was found. She picked it up ready to enter the building when she noticed a boy entering as well. "Excuse me can you hold the door please?" she asked. "Yeah sure" the boy replied back.
After both of them entered the building, she smiled at the boy and thanked him. Still she didn't know why he seemed quite familiar to her. "You're new here? I mean never seen you before" the boy asked. "Yeah, just moved in with my best friend and what about you?" Jiya asked back. "Oh I stay here with my brother." He replied back with a wide smile on his face. He was cute though, thought Jiya. "Please don't mind, but, I think I've seen you somewhere?" Jiya asked him. "Oh really, where?" the boy asked back. "I have no idea, let me think." Jiya replied as she racked her brains thinking where she had actually seen him. "Ahh, right, you bumped into me this morning, didn't you?" Jiya exclaimed with her hands almost tired of carrying that box, waiting for the elevator. "Did I? Oh such a shame. Well I'm sorry I was such in a hurry that I didn't even realize it!" the boy replied back. "It's alright, in fact my mood was off too and I don't know what I said about you, sorry as well" Jiya said as she faked a giggle. "Well I'm forgiven and so are you now we can shake hands can't we?" the boy asked. "Huh I don't think I really can "shake" hands but still Hi I'm Jiya!" She said and beamed. "Pleasure, I'm Hussain!" he said and there came the elevator. "Let me help you." Hussain said as he held the elevator door open for Jiya to enter, as he followed her.
"So which apartment are you staying in?" he asked. "Oh I'm on the fifth one on the third floor and you?" "That's pretty great because I'm on the third one on the third floor as well" Hussain said feeling a weird sort of happiness. "That's pretty cool, so we're gonna be neighbors I guess?" Jiya asked. "Sort of, and I assure you I'm not a bad neighbor!" Hussain tried to make her laugh with his almost lame dialogue. Jiya still burst out laughing as his words. The man's ego had finally risen; he had made a girl laugh. "Ok then catch you later." Jiya said as she headed to her apartment still a wide smile stamped on her face.
"If you've stopped smiling like a maniac then can you please get inside and help me move the settee?" Shehry told Hussain as he crossed his arms and leaned against the elevator. Confused Hussain instantly got inside to help his brother placed their brand new settee replacing the other one. "Did mum tell you when she'll be here?" Hussain asked. "Yeah, she said Maha still got her finals so she'll be here in two months or maybe three." Shehry replied.
Suddenly, they got a doorbell at the door; both brothers got immediately confused as no one usually visited them. Shehry got the door and there stood Waqas and Atif with all their luggage and stuff with them. "Hey guys, what's up?" Hussain said as he joined his brother at the door. "Man, we're in deep trouble." Waqas said as Atif laid his hand on his back.
The boys had been sacked out from their previous apartment. They hadn't paid the rent for almost six months and the landlord was moving to London forever. He couldn't allow them to stay in the house so he asked them to vacate it right away. They had not enough money to rent another place to stay the night so the only hope that was left was Hussain.
"Don't worry guys, you can stay here as long as you want" Shehry reassured them. "If Hussain is like a brother to you then I am too"
"Thanks a lot yaar, we're gonna rent the place with you as soon as the money has been arranged" Waqas told Shehry as he shook hands with him. "Don't you even speak about that again? We're brothers aren't we?" Hussain said as they all got into a group hug.
