So, everyone got to work; Hussain and Shehry vacated their work room area and moved everything to their bedroom so that Waqas and Atif could have their own room. Everything was done by eleven in the night. After having a quick dinner, everyone rushed to bed as a new day was awaiting them the day after.
Waqas and Atif woke up by the noise of loud screams in the morning. It was an early morning and wonders who was screaming so much. Now what was wrong? "What's happening in this house?" Waqas asked as he lazily got out of bed to the living room. There stood Hussain and Shehry both quarrelling over a dark blue blazer. "No! It's was already decided Hussain, I was the one supposed to be wearing it today!" Shehry threw back at Hussain as he took the blazer in his hands. "Yeah I know, but I got a date today! You have to let me take it!" Hussain bargained. "Ok ok fine, hold this..." Shehry asked Hussain to hold the hanger and he took the blazer and made his way outside ready for his job.
Furious Hussain threw the hanger on the floor and sat on the settee sulking. "Let it be man, you wear something else! I'll wake Atif in the meanwhile, don't wanna run late today!" Waqas said as he left for his room, yelling Atif's name like crazy. "But seriously man, I wanted to wear this now Sarah's gonna think I'm a, I don't know what, weirdo." Hussain sulked again.
"Yeah yeah sure, ok brace yourself; we don't wanna miss the bus today." Waqas said as he threw himself on Atif, waking him up.
They all got ready and sat for breakfast in the living room. Hussain's mood was already off so he just sat by the couch, watching rebroadcast of the previous night's cricket match. "Come on dude! It should've been a sixer! How can he miss that like that?" Hussain yelled as he threw the controller on the couch and got up. "Hussain, chill ok, it's just about a blazer! Don't you think you're overreacting a bit?" Waqas asked. "Yeah? You're saying this because maybe you've never went on a proper date right?" Hussain fought back. "Why are you freaking behaving like a fifteen year old girl now?" Waqas stood from the table and faced Hussain right in the eye. "Guys, chill, if you're gonna continue like that then we're definitely gonna miss the bus today! It's 8.15, we gotta get going or we're gonna be late again!" Atif broke the fighting atmosphere.
They all head down the building and walked for like not even ten minutes, to the bus stop. In the blink of an eye, the bus was already here. They were just on time; if they ever miss that bus then they'd have to wait for half an hour for another one to come, till then they'd already be way late.
They got in and Hussain was the last one to enter the bus. He hadn't even had a proper seat and the bus had already started moving. He firmly gripped an iron rod across a seat to that he catches his balance. When he was ready to move again, he heard someone shouting outside. He peeped through the window, frowning his eyebrows and pouting at the same time. Anyone would just fall head over heels for him.
Back to Hussain, he noticed someone familiar running after the bus. He dug deep into his thoughts and later realized that it was the girl he had met earlier, Jiya. "Hey wait! Please don't go! STOP!" Jiya screamed as she run after the bus. Hussain rushed to the three few stairs of the bus' door and extended his hand forward. "Come on catch my hand!" He advised to Jiya. "Seriously? You think I can?" Jiya screamed back, while panting out of breath. "Come on! I know you can! Try a little harder!" Hussain motivated her a little more. She put her last pinch of energy in the run and caught hold of Hussain's hand. He pulled her to him and she finally got into the bus. "Great morning run I guess." Hussain said. "Well this is more like DDLJ style, I guess, the only difference is that we're in an American bus" Jiya said as she immediately got herself a seat, taking out her blue water bottle, taking a sip from it. "Anyways, thanks! If you weren't here today then I'd be doomed!" Jiya thanked him. "Oh why is that?" Hussain asked as he got to the opposite seat, next to an old lady. "I've got a really important presentation and you know blah blah..." Jiya said calming her soul down. "Ah I see, well you're saved in this case." Hussain assured her and gave her a little wink. "So you're saying I should give you a treat?" Jiya flirted. "Huh actually I've got a date today, so maybe later. But I'm really gonna charge you a treat for that favor" Hussain joked. "Haha, I owe you one so, anytime." Jiya reassured him.
