It was the first day of summer!! Finally!! I live with my parents and my brother older brother who is in college. My best friend Maria lives with us because her parents...honestly...weren't shit. They never really took care of her so my mother took them to court and got custody of her. So she is pretty much my sister! ————————————————————————
I just broke up with my boyfriend because I caught him cheating on me with this Vanessa girl but I'm not really upset about it because he never put his all into our relationship. Maria thinks that I'm heartbroken but i really couldn't give two shits. I was peacefully sleeping on this Saturday morning when Maria bursted in my room yelling nonsense.
Maria: "WAKE UP!!!"
Lexi: " Girl what do you want?!" I said rubbing my eyes barely awake.
Maria: "I know your heartbroken ove-"
Lexi: " Not heartbroken but continue"
Maria: " Mhmmm well we should go to a party tonight to get your mind off of your heartbreak!"
Lexi: " AGAIN not heartbroken but we should go it is the first day of summer!!"
Maria: " Bet since you slept through half the day the party starts in a few hours"
Lexi: " What do you mean half the day its morning"
Maria: " Girl it is 3:00pm."
Lexi: " When does the party start?"
Maria: " The party starts at 7"
Lexi: " Argh I'm going to get breakfast."
Maria: " You mean brunch!"
I yelled from downstairs..." WHATEVER!!"
