Lexi's POV
I was in my room when I heard the doorbell ring. I locked my door and turned my tv up high so I wouldn't hear them talking or calling my name. After a while I heard a knock on the door. I unlocked the door and the kids came in my room.
Lexi: " What are you guys doing in here?"
Amira: " We don't want to talk to him"
Lexi: " Why?"
Amira: " He hurt you"
Lexi: " Princess if you guys want to talk to him you can"
Luca: " Nope"
Mateo: " Mattia is my favorite tio anyway"
Amira: " What are you watching?"
Lexi: " Princess and the frog"
Amira: " Ouu my favorite"
Lexi: " Teo can you go lock the door for me"
Mateo: " Yes"
He went to lock the door and then all the kids can in bed with me and we watched the movie. After watching 3 movies we thought they were gone so we went downstairs but he was still here.
Mattia: " Finally you guys come down here"
Amira: " We just came to get some snacks, ignore us"
Lexi: " What she said"
We grabbed some snacks and as we were walking back upstairs they stopped us.
Ale: " You are going to be an adult and talk to him"
Lexi: " Dude what are you doing?!" I whisper
Ale: " Please?"
Lexi: " Come on kids"
Amira: " Ugh why do we have to do this?"
We walked into the living room and sat down across from everyone.
Samy: " Hi Lexi"
Lexi: " It's Alexis but hi"
Samy: " Hi princess"
Amira: " It's Amira but hi"
I turned and smiled at her trying to hold in my laugh
Samy: " Luca"
Luca: " Sup."
Samy: " I-"
Lexi: " His name is Roman if you're wondering which I know you are because you were never in contact"
Samy: " Hi Roman I'm your dad"
Roman: " Mimi says I'm not supposed to like you"
Celia: " Sheesh"
Lexi: " This is getting awkward can we go now?"
Mattia: " No"
Lexi: " We have nothing else to talk about"
Ale: " What about how you're going to co parent?"
My eyes dart over to Ale and he mouths sorry.
Samy: " Yeah how are we going to handle that?"
Lexi: " I guess you can have them on weekends"
Samy: " Just weekends?"
Lexi: " I don't think I stuttered"
Celia: " Hey kids I'm going to be your step mom"
Lexi: " I gotta go" I said getting up quickly
Amira: " Bye Samy bye whoever you are because you are not my mom"
All the kids got up and walked upstairs with Lexi.
Samy's POV
It hurt seeing all of my family not care for me. My daughter just called me by first name. Lexi doesn't even want to see me. She can't even look me in the eyes.
Celia: " She's teaching the kids to be that mean?"
Maria: " That's my que before I say something I'll regret"
Katie: " Me too"
The girls got up and walked upstairs. Damn Celia just had to open her big ass mouth.
Mattia: " So when'd the wedding again?"
Samy: " Next week"
Ale: " Ok cool"
Samy: " Did she say she'll go?"
Ale: " Yeah"
Samy: " Mar you're still down to be my best man right"
Mar: " Uh...yeah"
They all seem like they hate me and don't want me to be here. I fucked up...
Lexi's POV
We went back to the room and started laughing. We heard a knock on the door a couple seconds later. I opened it and it was Maria, Katie, Angel, and Sicily.
Lexi: " I hope y'all aren't asking us to go back down there"
Maria: " No we came up here to get away from them"
Sicily: " The tension was so real"
Lexi: " Tuh anyway I'm done talking about that"
Katie: " Mattia just texted saying he wants us all back downstairs in 5 or their coming up"
Lexi: " Why the fuck do y'all want me to talk to him so bad knowing what he did?!"
Angel: " It's the boys"
Lexi: " But y'all want me to go to his wedding"
Sicily: " Why would I go to my sisters ex husbands wedding without her going to crash it?"
Lexi: " I'm not crashing it"
Maria: " Pleaseee"
Lexi: " No, you know how hard it was to even look at him without crying"
Katie: " Mattia texted again"
Lexi: " Ugh lets just go, and don't say anything unless we're spoken too, so if there's awkward silence then there's awkward silence."
We all walked back downstairs and sat back down the same way as before.
Samy: " Lexi can I talk to you in private?"
Lexi: " If that'll get you out then I guess"
I got up and we went to the backyard.
Samy: " Hey"
Lexi: " Hi."
Samy: " How have you been"
Lexi: " Ok before you came and made it worse"
Samy: " I just-"
Lexi: " You just what? You come back to Jersey to marry your new girl. Like why couldn't you stay in Canada and do that shit! And on top of that you want me to go?! Like dude you're fucking mental in the head"
Samy: " Just listen to me for one second"
Lexi: " Go ahead"
Samy: " When my dues died of the first year of me being out there I was hurt and then Celia came and I was using her as a crutch but I knew I had to come back to my real true love but I don't know what took over me and I asked her to marry me. I can't just break her heart to save yours."
Lexi: " Cool are we done here?"
Samy: " Lexi-"
Lexi: " Are we?!"
Samy: " Yeah..."
I walked back inside and sat down wiping my tears. Maria sat next to me and rubbed my back.
Celia: " So Alexis will you be going to our wedding next week"
Lexi: " I'm still thinking about it."
Celia: " I hope you can make it. I wouldn't want you to miss it"
Mattia's POV
It was making me mad seeing Celia here so I hired someone to get her to cheat. I hate seeing Lexi like this and for him to just pop back up and do all this shit.
