Time skip 1 year
It's been one year with Mattia gone in the mafia. The kids are 3 years old now Mateo starts to look like Mar more and more everyday. Katie stays in her room most of the day unless she's eating. Everyone misses him but we never talk about it. He used to reach out almost everyday but that soon stopped. He got a new number and new social medias. I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Luca.
Kairi: "So what's the plans for today?"
Ale: "I don't know..."
Alex: "Guys I have some news"
Lexi: "What's up?"
Alex: " I'm moving out..."
Maria: "What?! Where?"
Alex: " I'm moving in with my girl"
Ale: "Which one?"
Alex: "Shut the fuck up, I'm being for real"
Lexi: "I don't know what to say?"
Alex: " I'll visit from time to time, but you guys are adults now I don't think you need me anymore"
Lexi: " Oh my god I'm about to cry"
Maria: "Don't cry because if you cry I'll cry"
Ale: "Girls are confusing"
Alex: " I move out next week..."
Katie: " I'm going back to my room."
I followed Katie because I know she wasn't feeling ok. I walked into the room and closed the door behind me.
Lexi: "What's wrong?"
Katie: "We just keep losing people one by one" she said as she started crying
Lexi: " We only lost one person what do you mean?"
Katie: "First Mar dies, then Mattia leaves and joins the mafia, and now Alex is moving out!"
Lexi: "Mattia will come back one day and Alex said he'll come by"
Katie: " Alex is going to adjust to his new life and will never have time to visit and Mattia is probably forced not to visit or contact us and that's why he got a new number and social media's!"
I sat there in silence because she was actually right. There used to be 11 of us and now there is only 8 people left in the house. We are growing out of each other. Samy has been talking to me about getting our own house with just us and the kids but I don't want to leave the rest of our family.
Lexi: " How would you feel if I moved out with Samy, Amira, and Luca?"
Katie: "Is that even a question, I would be more heartbroken than I already am!"
Lexi: " Katie we are adults now, sometimes you just have to...grow up"
Katie: "You think I haven't grown up?! I feel like the only one in this house that cares that we are all splitting up!"
Lexi: "That doesn't mean we still aren't family"
Katie: "Are you moving out?!"
Lexi: "Samy has talked about it but I don't know if I want to leave"
Katie: "Of course, at this point I might as well move back home!"
Lexi: "It's not happening anytime soon, I still don't know if I want to leave"
Katie: "Whatever, I just want to go to bed"
Lexi: "Ok I'll give you your space"
I left the room and went to my room. Samy was in bed watching tv with Amira and Luca. I got in bed next to them and went to sleep.
Time skip another year
Mattia finally reached out to us. He told us he could come home permanently but would have to leave to go help out throughout the year. Kairi moved his room to Alex's old room so Mattia and Katie have the basement to themselves so we told him he could turn it into his office for his work. I haven't seen Katie this happy in so long. We were all in the living room waiting for him to walk in. We decorated the living room and hung a banner that said welcome home. We heard his uber pull up and we waited for him to walk in. When he did everyone jumped out
All: "Surprise!!"
Mattia: " Wow."
Katie: "Welcome home baby!"
Mattia: "Katie I'm sorry but we are done."
Katie: "What?!"
Mattia: "Me and you. Done."
Katie: "Why?!"
Mattia: "Just not feeling it anymore"
Katie: " Why don't you just go back to Italy and go feel the girls out there"
Mattia: "With pleasure"
Katie: "Fuck you polibio!"
Mattia: "Your too loose for me to fuck"
Lexi: "Alright let's chill out!"
Amira: " Tio Mattia!"
Mattia: " Amira!"
Mateo: " You missed our 3rd birthday?"
Mattia: " But I'm here now and I'll be here for the next one!"
Amira: "Promise?"
Mattia: "Promise"
Lexi: "So Mattia this is Luca!"
Mattia: "Hi buddy, he looks just like you Samy"
Samy: " Thanks bro"
Kairi: "So how was Italy and you know being in the mafia?"
Mattia: "It was great, got my body count higher than Lexi's and messed around with a couple girls here and there"
Maria: "You cheated on Katie?"
Mattia: "Yup."
Ale: "You seem proud about that bro"
Mattia: "Not proud just don't give a fuck"
Kairi: "Alrighty then..."
Mattia: "Where's Alex?"
Lexi: "He moved out a year ago"
Mattia: "Jeez and couldn't come over for a few to say hey"
Lexi: "He's a busy man now..."
Mattia: "Sure he is... so since I'm not longer with...her... where will she be staying?"
Lexi: "Kairi's old room I guess"
Mattia: "Urgh anyway I'm going to the club I'll see y'all later you can leave dinner in the counter for when I get home later"
Lexi: " I-"
He left the house and everyone just stood around in shock.
Lexi: "What the hell happened to him in Italy"
Kairi: "He changed and not in a good way..."
