Chapter 8- Escape?

In the morning

Wheein POV

Hwasa said I would be going to work with her today. This is my chance, when she is distracted I can escape. I wanna see Sohye and IU again, speaking of them I hope they're looking for me. And Yugyeom? He can rot in hell for all I care.

Hwasa finally comes out of the bathroom and looks at me "I'll get you something to wear and then we can go." Hwasa seems to be waiting for a reply so I nod. "Good," she throws clothes at me "Now get changed."

She threw me some skinny jeans and a shirt that was a little too big for me. "Go to the bathroom and change, don't try anything." Hwasa says the last part with a warning tone. She unlocks the chain and I move my ankle around. I get up and my legs are a bit wobbly from sitting for 1 day.

I go to the bathroom and lock the door. I immediately open the cabinet under the sink quietly. I smile as I found a small knife, maybe I can use for later. I put it on the counter and get up to start changing.

I can't help but to look at the mirror so I do, I gasp when I saw myself. My eyes were puffy and red from the crying, my skin was kinda pale from not eating. I almost cried when I saw myself, is this really me? I ask myself.

Of course it is, this is reality and you can't escape it. I sigh and look at myself in the mirror one last time before putting the knife in my jean pocket and walking out of the bathroom.

Hwasa was waiting for me outside "You took a long time, you weren't trying to escape were you?" She asks and takes steps towards me. I took a few steps back before my back hit the bed post. "Answer me, Darling." Hwasa says menacingly, I shake my head "Words, Wheein-ah." I look down "No, I didn't t-try to escape." She looks at face for a while, trying to find something I think. She nods "Good, now follow me."

She walks to the door and opens it for me. I warily walk out the room and my eyes widen in shock. The halls looked more expensive than my whole apartment. I quickly snapped out of it when Hwasa tugged my arm. After she got my attention she started walking again and I followed her.

After taking a bunch of turns we made it to the front door. A girl approached us and I recognised her as the girl with Hwasa at the bar. "Boss, ya ready?" The girl says. She seems to notice my presence "Is this her? She's really beautiful." Her hand extends to try and touch my face but Hwasa swats her hand away "She's mine, Jihyo" So her name is Jihyo. I'll tell that to the police when I escape.

"Possessive much?" Jihyo says and rolls her eyes. Hwasa glares at her but continues to talk "I'll meet you there, yea?" Jihyo nods and looks at me before smirking. "See you both there." She winks at me without Hwasa noticing.

When she leaves Hwasa turns to me "Don't try anything, and by anything I mean don't try to escape." Like hell I would listen to her. I nod anyways "I won't try anything." I say and she nods "Good, now lets go." She holds my hand and drags me to a black car.

Someone opens the car door for us, Hwasa bows and pushes me into the car. I fall on the seat as Hwasa gets in. I quickly get up and buckle my seatbelt, Hwasa does the same. I look out the window and smile, I miss Sohye, the way her eyes crinkled when she smile, her melodic laugh that was music to my ears.

"What are you thinking about, Darling?" I hear Hwasa say and my smile quickly disappears. "Nothing.." I mumble back. She responds with an 'mhm sure' before telling the driver more directions.

I look out the window and see something or someone I didn't expect to see.
