Chapter 9- Hope?

Wheein POV

Sohye

My eyes widen and I almost jump in excitement. Maybe she'll see me and get me out of here. I start mouthing 'Sohye' and 'Help me' towards her direction, I smile in happiness and relief when she looks my way. Her eyes widen and she starts for the car, screaming words that I can't hear, probably 'stop the car!'.

When she was next to my car window the car unexpectedly took a sharp turn and we lost her. I sighed, this was hopeless, I'll just have to wait until she leaves me alone.

After a while I saw a huge building with 'Ahn Enterprises' on it. Ahn Enterprises was a very rich and famous company, only the richest and the best were allowed to work there. I stared shock at the building and even more shocked when the car pulled up into the parking lot. Was I even allowed in there?

The car stops and the driver says something to Hwasa. She nods before getting out the car, she extends her hand out for me to take. I hesitate before taking it, she closes the car door and leads me inside the building. I looked around and saw many people walking down and up the halls.

Hwasa leads me to the elevator and presses the 12 button. "You will be staying in my office until I'm done with work," I nod and she continues "Mina will be watching you." I snap my head towards her "WAIT WHAT!" I yell at her "I'M NOT A FIVE YEAR-OLD KID THAT NEEDS A BABYSITTER!" Hwasa glares at me "Watch your tone when you speak to me, Wheein." I gulp and look down "M' sorry".

The elevator 'dings' and she drags me out. We walk until I see a door with thick, black, bold letters that read 'Ahn Hwasa'. She opens the door and pushes me inside "Hello Hwasa, Wheein." I hear a voice say. I turn my head towards it and see Mina "Hello Mina, here she is." Hwasa motions to me "If she causes any trouble, tell me" I see Mina nod.

"Bye, Darling" Hwasa says and walks out after closing the door. Mina walks towards me and I can't help but feel a little guilt when I remembered how I treated her the other day. "Erm, I'm sorry I came off a little rude the other day." I say. She smiles "It's fine, I know how you feel. I don't blame you." I bow my head in gratitude .

"So, what can we do?" I ask her, trying to change the awkward atmosphere. She shrugs her shoulders "I know I'm not allowed to do this but, do you wanna play on my phone?" She asks. I nod my head and she hands me her phone.

Sohye POV

I saw her...

I saw Wheein...

She never came home that night. I went to ask Yugyeom but all he did was give me the middle finger. I went to Starlit to see IU but this girl said she wasn't here. What was her name? Yeju? No. Yuna? Wait that's not even close. Yeji? Yes! That's it.

Flashbacks

I walked to Starlit with red and puffy eyes from all the crying I did last night. I went inside and went to IU's office, I knocked on her door. I was shocked to see someone else than IU "Hello?" She says, I snap out of it "Yes, Do you know where IU is?" She shakes her head "She's not here right now, I'm taking over while she is gone."

I cock my head "Who are you, exactly?" She rolls her eyes "Yeji, her younger sister. And you?" I look at her eyes, she has pretty cat eyes "Sohye, my name is Sohye." Yeji nods her head. "Why do you need IU?" I look away as the tears fill up in my eyes again "Erm, well it has to do with something about my friend. She is known here as Diamond."

Yeji nods and writes down something on a note "Well, when Unnie comes back I'll tell her to call you." I nod and she smiles at me "Have a nice day."

End of Flashback

Today I was walking around town, trying to take my mind off things. Then I saw her in a car, she was shouting my name, I chased after the car but I couldn't catch up to it.

I promise you Wheeinie, I'll find out what happened to you, save you. I'll make sure who ever did this to you suffers in prison.
