I stood mesmerized by her beauty. I was in deep conversation with my best friend about some new game, but I couldn't focus. Her straight hair fell over her face as she quickly pushed it behind her ear. She leaned into her locker laughing at a joke, her laugh is terrible but I find myself incredibly attracted to all of her... Camille.
She leans off the locker walking next to my step sister making her way to our math class. She's wearing shorts that hug her ass tightly. My dick twitched in my pants watching her hips sway. Rhett's fingers snapped in my face, pulling me from my thoughts.
"What man"
"Did you not just hear a word I said"
"Sorry man" Rhett rolls his eyes and follows my gaze to Camille. He eyes me laughing.
"You could never pull her"
I push him back, frowning at his words. He was right. I've only dated white girls at this school never broadening my horizons until I saw her. It wasn't even about race really Camille was one of a kind. She was smart and nice like most girls but she was actually funny like fall on the floor hilarious. She acted like one of the guys never minimizing herself to fit in, she had dreams she was determined to accomplish. I wanted her and I was going to get her.
"Whatever man I was just looking"
...
"Dad" I yell. I just came home from my tortuous school day. Camille was on the same schedule as me so we had all the same classes. I watched her flirt, giggle, frown, and smile. She became my every thought there was no way I was getting through this semester with decent grades.
"He's inside in a meeting. I have to come pick up Rose she's at that girl's house what's her name"
"Camille" I answer. "I'll go with you". Tyler, my older brother, shakes his head at my eagerness. He and Rhett didn't get it; they had girls practically begging to date them, I did too but Camille pushed the possibility of anyone else away.
We pulled up to her house. Tyler moves to call Rose but I stop him wanting to go in and get her myself. I ring the doorbell and her father answers. Oh shit. He's intimidating, to say the least. Standing 6'6 he towered over my 6'0 frame. He didn't look like a 'thug' whatever that's supposed to me. He seemed normal but I was still intimidated as his eyes pierced my soul.
"Ugh good evening sir my sister- step-sister is here I'm here to bring her home"
"You're the Rossi boy huh"
"Y-Yeah". He moves to the side gesturing for me to come in. I walk inside admiring the house. It's not as big as ours but it looks comfortable. He leads me up the stairs to Camille's room. I knock on the door as Rose opens it, her eyes are almost as red as her hair, letting me know that she either smoked a blunt or she was crying.
"Rose wait" Camille exclaims coming into view. Rose is already walking past me storming down the steps. Camille sighs, turning her face up as she looks at me.
"What are you doing here" she questions. The words leave my mouth as I eye her attire. She's in a tank top with no bra underneath... Fuck me. To top it off she's wearing the shortest shorts ever.
"I- I uh came to pick Rose up," I say running a nervous hand through my hair. She nods.
"Do you know about her?" She asks.
"Know what"
"Nevermind. I think she should tell you" She says. I eye her lips as they open and close with every word. Damn, I'm really losing it. She eyes me weirdly probably do to my staring.
"I think you're beautiful" I slip. Fuck why did I say that I'm such a dumbass. Her eyes widen as her mouth moves to a small grin. "Fuck, I didn't mean it"
"You didn't," She says, stepping closer. My breathing increases as she grabs my arm. I shake my head violently anxious. "And if you did," she says trailing her fingers up my arm.
"I-I-I" She laughs at my stuttering walking away. She grabs Rose's book bag handing it to me.
"Bye Derek, tell Rose to call me". I stare at her in disbelief, damn she's good. I drop the bag walking closer to her. I grab her head and crush my lips into hers. She grunts at the contact but begins to kiss me back, her finger gripping my hair tightly. She pulls away breathless.
"I'll talk to you later," I say, grabbing the bag and heading out the door.

A/N: I love these next few chapters just saying. Writing in Derek's POV is so cool.
