Mirio's Cinnamon Roll

Chapter 6

Izuku didn't know why he's doing this but his mother, Inko Midoriya, convince him to give it a chance. He was on his way to UA for a talk. He really didn't know what it was all about but his mother told her to at least heard what they have to say, he had little choice but to go and meet up with Nezu.

When he arrived at UA's school gate, he was surprised to see Midnight and a tired-looking guy who he recognized as Eraser Head waiting there. When the two heroes saw him, Midnight rushed at him and gave him a hug while the other hero just stood and watch.

"Izuku! It's good to see you again!" She greeted.

"Follow us, we'll guide you to Nezu's office." Eraser casually said.

Izuku followed the two heroes into the school building. Izuku was nervous but lucky for him, Midnight was there to reassure him that everything's fine. When they arrived outside Nezu's office door, Izuku took a deep breath and they soon entered the room. 

Nezu greeting them when he saw his guest. He was excited to finally meet the teenager that grab his interest. When all of them were comfortable sitting, Nezu cleared his throat and began to talk.

"It's wonderful to finally meet you Izuku Midoriya. I know this is sudden but there's something that I need to talk to you about. However, I would like to first thank you for helping Nighteye and Mirio Togata. Thanks to you nobody died and for that, I'm grateful." 

"T-there's no need to thank me, I was just doing what I need to do," Izuku replied.

"Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I wanted to talk to you but there's nothing for you to worry. I was just curious to know if you are interested in transferring to UA. I'm sure you're confused by what I mean but I think that UA is a great school to showcase your different skills. You're a talented young man and I personally think that we can help you bring out the best in you. You have talent and skills but I heard you have a bit of complication with your quirk and that's why you gave up on your dream of becoming a hero" Nezu pointed out.

Izuku nodded and listened as Nezu continue talking.

"I have an offer for you Mr. Midoriya and I hope you can consider it. I want you to join the Hero course and if you accept, we can change some of your class schedules to suit your needs. Now let me explain the details. Normally some of the hero students' lessons involve combat training but your quirk hinders you from joining that's why rather than joining combat training, I was planning that you assist Recovery Girl with the aftermath of those lessons. I learned that you have a passion for helping people and I commend you for that. That's why I need your assistance and learn under Recovery Girl. You may not become the kind of hero that fights crimes like some heroes but you can be a hero like Recovery Girl, who helps the after-effects of crime-fighting."

"I k-kinda like that. I always love the smiles I received when I help someone and it would really be great to learn from a hero as great as Recovery Girl. Not to mention I don't have to worry about quirk usage outside." Izuku informed.

"Yes, we can handle any issues you may encounter when your quirk activates on its own. You have nothing to worry about. So what do you say Mr. Midoriya, will you accept transferring here at UA?" Nezu asked even though he already knew the answer.

"Yes, if you'll have me" Izuku answered.

Nezu smiled and told Izuku that they will handle his transfer. When they were done, Nezu thanked Izuku for agreeing and watch as the two heroes escort the small teen. Nezu then began getting everything done. The sooner they can transfer Izuku Midoriya into UA, the sooner things will be interesting.

When the two heroes finished escorting Izuku, they went back to Nezu's office. Midnight was the first one to speak.

"I can't wait for things to be interesting! Not to mention love will soon bloom within these school halls!" She exclaimed. 

"This seems more trouble than it's worth." Eraser silently complained.

When Izuku got home, he told his mother what everything that happened. His mother was happy for his son and even cried a little. She was a little sad that his son will be living at the school dorms but Izuku promised to visit every chance he gets. All that they needed to do now were to wait for Nezu to complete the transfer then start packing for the dorms.

When the day finally arrived, Izuku was a bit of a mess. Aizawa was the one who guided him towards the dorm building. Izuku was informed that he will be joining class 1-A and if he remembers correctly, his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo was in that class. Izuku can't wait to spend time with his hot-headed friend.

"Your things are already in your dorm room and you're already informed about all the rules at the dorm. Nezu told me to inform you that you're free to go to him if you ever need something. You're also going to be meeting your new classmates today and I have to remind you that they can be too much once in a while so be prepared." 

Aizawa informs him as they walk toward's 1-A dorm. When they arrived, Aizawa opened the door and let him go first. When Izuku entered the building he was greeted by an object flying towards him and just like he expected his quirk's defensive property activates on its own. A green crystal-like barrier was in front of him and protected him. When he looks at what the object was, he was surprised to find a purple ball that stuck to his shield. 

"So that's what your defense looks like. It's impressive and useful" Aizawa commented. 

Izuku then looked at the mess in the room. There were some of his classmates playing games in the common room and some running around chasing a small purple-haired guy. He can also see Kacchan(Katsuki Bakugo) shouting at some people. It was a bit chaotic for Izuku. Aizawa then shouted something to grab the attention of the class. Izuku looked and saw Aizawa's eyes turn red and his hair floating around. 

When everyone's attention was on Aizawa, he then introduced their new classmate to the class.

"This is Izuku Midoriya and he will be joining your class from now on. He's also here as both Nezu and Recovery Girl's student. Make sure to treat him right and stay out of trouble. I'll leave you all to take care of the rest and if there's no other question then its time for me to go"

When Aizawa left the dorm, Izuku was left with a whole class who from his experience was going to bomb him with questions. Izuku can already feel that today was going to be a long day.
