Peter's POV

She narrowed her eyes and came slowly closer to me.

"Peter..."

What!? Does she know??

"W-what? I-I'm not P-Peter." I stuttered.

She chuckled, "I know. Duh. I was just wondering if you knew him."

Phew.

"Wh-why?"

"Because he told us that he knew you. So I was just curious. His name is Peter Parker." She smiled.

"Ohhh the P-peter Parker! Yeah yeah O-of course I know him!" I said.

"I'm so going to kill Flash." She mumbled under her breath.

"What?" I asked.

She looked up at me, "Oh. Nothing" she smiled.

"Well I'm going to go in now, I'll see you around Mr Spiderman." She said.

"What do you think about Peter?" I blurted out.

She paused and faced me, her eyes were glistening in the moonlight.

"He's uh- an amazing guy, probably one of the best people I've met. Him and his friend, Ned are just so wonderful and..." She grinned. "I like him a lot, he's a great friend to me."

I smiled, "H-he sounds amazing."

"Yeah, he's awesome but some people don't know that yet and underestimate him."

I nodded, "Right."

"Alright, bye Spiderman." She waved and hopped through her window and smiled before closing her window.

I waved and swung back home.

"Where were you?" Ned asked as I entered my room. Which startled me and made me drop straight on the ground, "OW!"

"What was that?" May shouted from her room.

"Nothing!"

"Alright!" She called back.

"Ned what are you doing?!" I whispered-shouted.

"You said that if the 'bad guys' stopped inform you, but you had your phone off so May let me in."

"Oh, alright." I said, changing from my suit to normal clothes.

As soon as I put on my shirt, May opened my door.

"Yeah, I know right Rebecca? Sorry I just to check on something, I'll be right back." she laughed then put her hand over her phone speaker, "Are you two alright because I heard a loud thud." she asked us.

"Yeah, It was Ned falling off the bed." I lied, I looked at Ned.

"Oh-ye-yeah... Owwww." Ned fake moaned.

"You're alright now?" She asked, worriedly.

"Of c-course, yes!" Ned nodded.

"Alright, are you staying the night Ned?" She asked.

"Yes—"

"No, Ned will be leaving soon." I said.

"Okay, well have a good night Ned." May answered then closed my bedroom door.

"You too May." Ned replied.

"So where did they stop?" I whispered as May left.

He showed me the hologram of the city and the arrow pointed to Maryland.

"Maryland?" I said.

"What's there?"

"I don't know. Evil lair?" I guessed while looking closely to the hologram.

"They have a lair?" Ned asked, surprised.

"Dude. A gang with alien guns run by a guy with wings? Yeah, they have a lair."

Ned nodded, "Badass. But how are you gonna get there if it's, like, 300 miles away?"

We simultaneously turn to the Academic Decathlon poster.

"It's not too far from D.C." I commented.

"Yes. Let's go to Washington!" Ned exclaimed.
