Dear Future Husband
So its December 2014 and if I'm correct Christmas is about 8 days away right now and well I taught I should let you know that I really do love Christmas time seeing that I grew up in a Christian household who without fail always celebrates Christmas no matter what may have happened earlier in the year. We usually decorate our home early in December but this year we have not , not because of some tragedy no but because the 2 people ( my sister & I ) who always decorate since 2007 have now gone on strike to decorate why? Well because we believe that we need new decorations and if my parents don't want to buy them then we will not decorate. I know its a bit childish but come on its Christmas and new things are needed.
So now you should know that in future that we should always go shopping for some new Christmas decorations I don't care if its something small like lights or a star to top the tree. And like many households we have some traditions like singing I mean who would mind singing
The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay:
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel Noel Noel Noel
Born is the King of Israel.I could sing these Christmas carols for hours and maybe you'd join in I love to sing Silent Night
Silent night, Holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin, mother and child
Holy infant, tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.I don't really know why I like this song but I guess its because of the melody I sang once in church it was our annual Carols By Candle Light I was probably 13 at the time so it was December 2009 I sang The Little Drummer Boy
Come they told me
Pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see
Pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring
Pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the king
Pa rum pum pum pum rum pum pum pum rum pum pum pum
So to honor Him
Pa rum pum pum pum
When we come Little baby
Pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too
Pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring
Pa rum pum pum pum
That's fit to give our King
Pa rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum
Shall I play for you
Pa rum pum pum pum On my drumI remember how nervous I was that day because I had to sing and I still played a major role in our Christmas play so I was all over the place that day but it was fun. Did you ever take part in something similar I wonder ? If we have children would they ever take part in something like that?
Or maybe we could have our own little Carols by Candle Light and that could be one of our traditions for Christmas I like that idea.
Do you celebrate Christmas I wonder , I hope you do then we could celebrate together have some fun. If you celebrate Christmas I wonder if you do that like I do and have a large lunch with all sorts of foods and a lot of family around where jokes are made and we think back on old memories.
I hope by now that you understand how much I love Christmas its just a special time of year for me but where I live we always have Christmas in Summer how about you? Maybe its snowy doesn't matter as long as we have the Christmas spirit in us during that time.So as I end off this rather terribly written letter I'd like to let you know that I am thinking of you today and I'm hoping that you are doing well and that life is treating you well
Best wishes
Your future wife
