Dear son / daughter
Hello my little one I'm not sure exactly what I wanted to say because there is a lot of things I'd like to say to you to let you know but I cant form all these taughts into sentences for you to be able to comprehend.
So its been a while since I have actually written to you a really long while but I'm writing now because I have the time and you deserve to know a few things from me incase one day in the future I dont remember to tell you most of this.
So here goes my baby boy / baby girl when your growing up from birth until your old enough to attend school I plan on spending as much time as I possibly can raising you myself because I don't want you to be raised by a nanny or family member I want to play a crucial role in raising you. Why you may wonder well here are the reasons : 1. I want to teach you respect because respect goes both ways and after I have seen how some children in my family are so disrespectful and I was taught to respect others so you should too ; 2. I want you to know that you can trust me with whatever may be going on in your life ; 3. I want you to know that I will support you in all you do. ; 4. To teach you to be grateful for things in life ; 5. To teach you to love reading like I do ; 6 To teach you languages and 7. To help you learn certain things.
So while you growing up I want to ensure that I can groom you into somebody who will know how to respect others and have compassion somebody who I will be proud of but most importantly somebody who will know who they are and what they want in life.
I want to be there as you grow up and hit puberty so that I can help you get through that without thinking your weird because my child I have gone through the puberty phase and I could be of great help. Also I want to teach you how to make healthy choices concerning the food you eat and I want you to take part in sports at school so that you are fit and healthy. I want you to find a passion it can be a sport or music or something anything.
When you get to highschool I hope that you realize that you don't have to do certain things to fit in with the rest but I want to warn you in advance. My dearest child you are unique you are an individual you are your own person with your own personality. You have no reason to want to be like everyone else its good to be different because you were made to stand out so never let others try and change who you are or who you become because you will be perfect the way you are. But when the time is right you and I can have this conversation in the future and I hope that you will take my advice to heart because I've been through all of this and I know what it feels like to want to fit in and had someone warned me about staying through to myself then I would have had a better time in High School.
But as of now my child I'd like to think that you will grow up into someone who has morals and values someone I'd love with all my heart. So I hope that when you read this letter you will think about what I said and realize that I just want to make sure you know that I want you to be your own person but not a person who has no manners or brains.
So my dear child I hope that one day when you read this you will understand that when these letters were written I wrote them after some thoughts had popped into my head. I pray that one day you get to read this.
But until then my dear son or daughter I wish you well you are unborn but I am thinking about you.
