"Niichan!"
I give a soft groan. My back ached.
"Get up, niichan!"
I wake up to see Yuuki holding on to me. I was laid on my back against the cold, rough ground. A good amount of my health depleted. I sat upright and drank a potion. Me and Raito packed her some gear and it seemed she did drink one as her health is full. No one could have survived that fall without taking fall damage. Even the deepest of holes, you couldn't die from them. They were most likely not going to kill you, it only chipped a maximum 15% of your life. I would be fine.
"How long was I out for?" I ask my sister.
"Umm....I think an hour." She worriedly replied, "Shit, I thought you were dead."
I gasped in horror, "Hey!"
She went stiff and I nagged, "You watch your language, young lady. Well, Raito does cuss. So do I." My nag went to an embedded murmur after realizing my hypocrisy.
I got up and luckily nothing was broken. I could walk perfectly. A dungeon like place. It wasn't like the catacombs from before. It was massive. Like church massive.
Marble pillars stood proudly and ahead of us, a brown door.
I gave a good look to see if Raito was about. She was not there. I call our her name. Nothing. I couldn't message because it was impossible and couldn't track her down since Yui couldn't do it.
"Raito is fine!" Yuuki's eyes glistened, "I know it. Though...she seems to be feeling strange. She is feeling...guilt."
"How are you certain?" I suspiciously ask, "How do you know."
She bows her head down, not knowing what to say next. Was it her gut telling her that? Does she know about something I don't. This supported our theories. She is definitely—
"An Artificial Intelligence?" Someone spoke.
I pull out my sword and Yuuki hid close to me.
A tall figure unhoods themselves. A fox masked person. I noticed their hair was braided into one tie.
"No wonder Jigoku sent me here. What a fascinating sight." She walked closer.
My sword started to spark. I drag Yuuki behind me, shielding her away, "Don't you dare touch my sister."
"Oh now?" She snaps her fingers
Before I could understand what had happened. A jolt of lightning, a tiny static hit my ear. I look beside me and Yuuki to our left. A thick black line burnt across the floor.
How was that possible? I don't think that was done by a sword.
"I am The Twilight Fox. The name in Laughing Coffin as the swiftest. That is until that bitch Akari took my job and I'm here defending the big three."
She was a lightning user, no shit. In a snap of a finger, she could screw us up. A lot like that game called Breath Of the Wild. There was this one ability called Urbosa's Fury that fried up a good amount of the area where it was casted. It was the same energy I got here.
"So you are the son of The Lightning Flash?" She snickered, "And you couldn't even dodge. What a joke, more like a low thunder.
She put on a pose, what seemed like a sword stance. It was hard to believe as she was pretending to be holding a sword.
