Last Name, at this moment, she had finally find her very own and last family but at the same time she had lost him on this day. Adding to that grief, she was the one who killed him. She doesn't want to. Inside her, after all of those revelations that she had come to know, she couldn't completely bring herself to hate him. Why? Was it because he's her only family? Doubtless, that could be true.

"Why?" Last Name started, she muffled her cries.

"Why can't I bring myself to completely hate him?! Together with our parents, he tortured me for the sake of research before and he plans to continue that upon having me! He was already at edge of killing me right there! But why?!"

"Last Name..."

"So that's how it is. The agony of losing a family can possibly weigh more than loathe. This inevitable feeling of grief inside me is eating me alive as I speak and I can't even think straight. This is the worst."

Chuuya could only listen to her. He was sitting there beside her with Last Name's agony towards her family syncing in his mind. Something he couldn't relate himself, perhaps. For he didn't existed in this world by having his upbringing with his own parents but rather emerging as the human form of a god. Nonetheless, he understood her feelings so well. Losing someone that you might seem to hate but in reality you couldn't actually bring yourself to.

"You can cry all you want. But the damage has been done. At this moment, you can only choose between two things."

"And that would be?" Last Name wiped her tears off, starting to calm herself.

"Mourn and suffer' or 'move on and live." Chuuya stood up from his seat then looked back to Last Name who was looking up at him.

That needn't time to think. Of course, she chose the latter.

"First Name-chan! You're safe!" Mori stood up from his seat as Last Name entered his office.

"Are you alright? Did Hiroko did something to you?" Last Name was not responding at his questions until she arrived at his table.

"Tell me, Mori-san. Are you the one that let that car explode six years ago?" Last Name didn't waste any effort to greet the man and get on with the thought that has been bothering her ever since she heard that from Hiroko.

"So what if it was me?" Mori changed his expression. Looking at her with the same seriousness in his eyes.

"Did you plan to kill me that time or you planned to sabotage the previous boss' plan to take me?"

"The latter."

"Why?"

"The previous boss planned to take advantage of your power to control every ability user in Yokohama and destroy the city. Something I can't let happen of course."

"But you set that car for explosion, I was supposed to die."

"I know your brother will save you upon seeing him tailing the car back then. I just know he will."

"You know so well how eager I was to find my family but in behalf of knowing everything that has happened before you chose to shut your mouth. Why is that?" Her feelings were seeping through in her words yet she was mastering a calm tone while talking to Mori.

"You will not take it. The anguish that this cruel world had put up to. You are too young to comprehend how this world works that is why it was fortunate for you to lose your memory. We never know that might have been meant to be, First Name-chan."
