Adrien awoke the next day with a smile on his face. He couldn't wait to get to school and see Marinette again. He had such a great time the prior evening with her. At breakfast Nathalie was going over his schedule for the day.

"Your father is sorry that he couldn't eat with you yesterday," she said as he was finishing. "He said he would be here tonight."

"Of course he will," Adrien said dryly as he left to go downstairs. Once he was dropped off at school he rushed inside to find Marinette. Throughout the day Adrien took every opportunity that he got to talk to her. She was so easy to talk to. During class he caught himself looking at the back of her head more times than he'd like to admit. His heart filled with happiness every time she would turn around and look at him.

Before he knew it the day was over and he was back home. When dinner came around he found himself yet again sitting by himself at the dinner table. After a few minutes Nathalie walked in and started saying "I'm sorry Adrien, but your fath..." She stopped as he stood up and walked out of the room.

"What a surprise," he said as he left.

"Soooo, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Plagg asked Adrien when they were back in his room.

"What?" he asked.

"You know, that we should go to Marinette's again!"

"Do you ever think about anything other than food?" Adrien asked annoyed.

"What else is there to think about? Aw, come on, she told you that you could go over."

"I don't know, Plagg, I don't want to bother her."

"It's not bothering her! She seemed like she had a great time last night. Come on, we'll just stop by real quick, say hi, grab some food, and leave!"

"Alright alright, Plagg. We'll stop by real quick just to say thanks. Plagg, claws out!"

Chat Noir sped across the rooftops to Marinette's house. She was outside on her balcony again, back at her yoga. He landed behind her on the roof and called out to her. Turning around towards him, she reached up and pulled the single headphone out of her ear.

"Hey!" she said excitedly. "It's nice to see you again."

"I didn't scare you this time, did I?" he asked as he jumped down to the floor.

"Nope, I kept one headphone out just in case you decided to stop by again," she said with a laugh.

"Good thinking," he said. "So... I... just wanted to stop by and say thanks for last night. I had an awesome time."

"No problem at all." She walked towards him. "Glad I could help a superhero out. I mean, you're always helping everyone else, I think it's only fair that someone help you every once in a while."

Chat Noir was in disbelief. Marinette's kindness seemed to have no end.

"So, did you eat dinner already...?" she asked.

"Um, no," he admitted.

"Alright, well sit down. I'll be right back."

"No, really, you don't have to..." he started to say.

"Nope, this is non-negotiable. Sit!" she commanded while pointing towards the table on the balcony.

Chat Noir sighed and went to sit down on the floor near the table as Marinette disappeared into her room. She was back in minutes with plates and containers of food again. They talked while they ate.
