"I think I'll take a look around first before I decide." The young woman smiled. "Thank you." She bowed then left the store.

The man sighed as he lifted the quiet light brown bunny up to his face. "I've lost count of the people that wanted you but thought you were too weak or just plain sick." He gently ran a finger along the furry head, between the flat ears that never seemed to stand upright this whole week. "You miss her?"

Jennie opened her eyes and finally lifted her head, looking at the man sadly.

"I'm sorry she got away. I'm bringing in some more friends for you. They should arrive in a few days. You won't be lonely anymore." He placed the rabbit inside the cage then left to get her a carrot.

Jennie immediately went back to her corner. She curled up there quietly like she had always done since Lisa left. Lisa's smell was still there but it had started to fade. She inwardly sighed. She didn't need new friends. She just wanted that one gray bunny she missed so much.

He came back and replaced the wilted uneaten carrot stick with a new one. "You should really eat more." He took a deep breath before closing the cage lid.

Jennie saw the carrot and it just made her miss Lisa even more because it reminded her of that last dinner they had together. She ignored the hunger in her stomach and closed her eyes, crying herself to sleep yet again.

"Lunch is ready!"

"FOOD!"

"Yah! Leave some for us you giant bottomless pit!"

"Hey that's mine!"

"Unnie~ I want the sweet potato!"

"Rabbits are supposed to eat carrots, Sooyoung. Not sweet potatoes."

"And deer are supposed to eat shoots, grass or twigs, Unnie. So stop hogging the sweet potato."

"Ew! This meat is still raw!"

"Did someone say raw meat?"

"Yah! I thought you'd had lunch?"

"You're not gonna eat the meat anyway, right?"

Lisa ignored the ruckus. She had no appetite. She just lay there on the grass with her eyes closed, feeling the gentle summer breeze blowing through her fur. Her mind was only filled with the light brown bunny she missed so much and felt guilty towards.

"Isn't Lisa eating?" Seulgi asked through a mouth full of food. She looked at the gray rabbit sprawled on the grass a distance away from them.

"You know how she is," Joohyun calmly approached the group, yawning. "Let her be. Just leave her some."

"Hear that? Leave her some." Jisoo immediately grabbed some of the berries and a carrot before Yeri ate them all.

"I've never seen her smile, now that I think of it," Wendy said.

"She's probably still recovering from the shock of seeing you, Unnie," commented Yeri.

"Shut up," scolded the adolescent light brown bear.

"Or what? You'll eat me?"

"Ew. Deer." Wendy grimaced. "Give me fish any day." She turned her head, looking at Lisa. "But I think someone really needs to talk to her. I've never seen such a depressed rabbit before."

"I've never seen any animal that depressed," Chaeyoung said. "Not even at the pet shop."

"Can you blame her?" Jisoo looked at her black pal. "You know they can't live without each other."
