Time changes people. Time changes feelings. If you're in love and you pass the test of time, then, I guess the love is true... or so, at least I believed.

I miss the days when life was simple. I miss the days when all I think is anything related to academic stuff. Pero syempre, slight lang kasi sino ba naman ang gustong magpuyat nang magpuyat? I'm quite shock that I'm still alive today. I survived college. Pero heto ako ngayon, nagpapauto sa lahat ng mga whims ng boss ko! Grrr.

Looking back, my young self would probably laugh and question my life decisions today.

Baka nga siguro nasapak at nasabunutan ko na ang sarili ko, eh. It's just so funny how did everything end up this way.

And my old self today would be stressing over her what-ifs and regrets.

But... one thing I regret the most? Is it when I didn't get the chance to be vocal about everything...

Is it when I also assumed things... and I fell unto my own trap... that my young heart didn't even understand it.

How did I meet the brute? Well...

I grinned triumphantly as I stepped outside of our classroom. I admit I did well. I worked hard for it. I studied hard. Kahit tulog wala talaga. 

Sacrifice.

"Sana all Via!"

Agad kong liningon ang kaibigan na parang pinagbagsakan ng langit at lupa.

We just had our comprehension exam. An annual examination that would determine if you're worthy to step up for 3rd year. By this, we are extracted. Matira matibay.

I am in my second-year, taking up Accountancy. And few days after today, marami nanamang iiyak. I sighed.

Agad kong linapitan ang kaibigan at yinakap ng mahigpit. I admit, the questions were very tricky. And you need to analyze well. Lahat ata ng brain cells ko ay napiga na.

"We did well Ella! Papasa tayo. Don't worry!", I assured her, kahit ako, medyo hindi din sigurado.

I know Ella would make it, like me, I knew she studied well. Pero kasi nga, mahirap talaga.

She hastily smiled. "At dahil diyan, tara Vee! Ice cream tayo." I hesitantly stared at her. Alam niya kasing may part time job ako. I gave her a hesitant look and she just batted her lashes even more! Tapos nagpapacute ulit. Putek.

"Alam mo namang may part time job ako, hindi pwedi."

"Eh ayaw nga ni Marielle, tapos si Jane may date.", she pouted.

"Nasaan boyfriend mo? Pass nga ako. Mag aalas quatro na oh. Night shift ako ngayon."

Looking at my wristwatch, totoo ngang malapit na mag alas quatro. I started to panic. Anak ng. Patay talaga ako nito. Strict pa naman si Mam Basya. Walang consideration!

"Napaka KJ! Ako nga bahala, hahatid din naman kita agad." Ella said persuasively. "Oh, sige. Dahil nakakahiya naman sa'yo. Libre ko na. Hindi ka na lugi ha.", dugtong niya.

Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata. Nagtaas lang siya ng kilay. And I sighed. Her smile grew bigger knowing she was able to convince me.

Bruhang to. Umirap nalang ako at na mismo ang humawak sa palupulsuhan niya.

"Sinabi mo sana agad.", I rolled my eyes and dragged her.

Basta libre, automatic na!

"Ang sabihin mo buraot ka talaga."
