♥♡ Er... I should probably explain why I have not updated in so long, but I don't really have an excuse, except for lock of inspiration? I'm really sorry anywayz. Okay I'll stop talking now. I now present Chapter 9... Enjoy xx ♥♡

After what seems like only a few seconds, Lissa nudges me and says with a grin, "Earth to Kristy! Stop ogling him!"

At this, I blush profusely and tear my eyes away from the smirking Dan. Maybe I wasn't staring at him for only a few seconds...

"Hey. I forgot to tell you earlier, but I have a history assaignment to hand in tomorrow and I need to work on it in the libary, as it's a paired project. I'll see you at home. Sorry about this. I know you have no ride since Jake has already left, but it's not really that far and you could look around the neighbourhood...?" Lissa says apprehensively.

"Yeah that's fine. I'll see you at home," I said and send her a quick wave before starting my walk. I was observing my surroundings in the car this morning, so I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going.

After 30 minutes of walking, I finally realise that I have no idea where I am. Looks like I'm going to have to ask for directions now...

Suddenly, a large motorbike appears in my peripheral vision and I turn around to see that it has stopped next to me and riding it is none other than Dan Waters, looking like a Greek God, I must admit, with his dark hair in a windswept fashion and his shirt untucked with the top buttons undone.
"Well well well, lost already, gumdrop?" He says with a chuckle.
I don't particularly feel like being teased right now, so I turn on my heel and leave him alone on the side of the road.

"Aw Kristy, don't be like that," he says with a pout. This immediately distracts me and I quickly forget why I was mad at him.

"Why are you out here so late?" I ask him, genuinely intrigued.

"I had business to attend to after school," he says, in a way that makes me drop the subject instantly.

I carry on walking, until he starts to talk to me again.

"Need a ride, gumdrop?" He asks with a grin.

"Really?" I ask, bewildered that he would help me.

"Sure, but seriously? No 'I can"t get on that deathtrap,' or 'No way, I'd do on that thing'? he asks with shock evident on his features.

I smirk at him and say, "I guess I'm just different to all of the other girls that get on your bike."

He looks like he wants to say something else, but since he doesn't continue, I take this as my chance to get onto the motorbike. I swing my legs over and clutch onto the back of the seat.

"You know, that's quite dangerous. The safest thing to do would be to hold onto me," he says with a smirk in my direction.

I blush (seriously, blushing again?!) but thankfully, he can't see my face, as I wrap my small arms around his waist. I don't mean to perv on him, but I can feel the bulges in his abdomen, suggesting that a number of abs are present... I subconciously move my hands around until I notice him take in a sharp breath.

Oh my god! I can't belive I did that. I am such a creep!

He quickly recovers however and he turns around and whispers, "You enjoying yourself, gumdrop?" and before I can respond, he revvs the engine and we start moving.

"Weeeeeeh!" I scream in joy. I feel his stomach shaking on my hands as he laughs at my childish behaviour.

Even though I am having the time of my life, I can't help but hold on tighter when we swerve into the different roads.

All too soon, we reach his house and he turns to me, "You know, you really shouldn't be walking around by yourself in this neighbourhood. There are some weird characters around here and there have recently been some news about gangs around the area."

He says all of this with a distant look in his eyes and I can' t help but think, "Why is the bad boy giving me advice?"

"Don't worry. I'll make sure that it doesn't happen again," I say before he gets off the bike.

When he is off, he immediately grabs onto my waist and pulls me down, alarming me. I hastily pull my skirt down and glare up at him for his over-friendly gesture. However, all of that is forgotten when I see the genuine smile on his handsome face.

"I'll see you around, gumdrop and make sure to remember what I said."

"Ok, see you and thanks for the ride. I really appreciated it." I say with my own smile.

As soon as I enter the Harris' house, I am struck with the blissful scent of baking and I am immediately crushed by a pair of arms before I can even think to dwell on my interesting motorcyle ride with the bad boy.

"Kirsty!!!" shouts a relieved voice.

♡♥ Here you go. Sorry it's so short, but I should really start revising for my chemistry test tomorrow. Remember to vote and comment! Xx ♥♡
