Blood reached his nostrils as he was walked down the street. It sent his adrenaline racing, as his senses told him he wasn't too far from his next snack. He looked around, to see if anyone was behind or watching him, luckily enough, no one was. Quickly, he disappeared into the night to see what made his thirst hungry even more.

When he slowly came to a walk, he noticed there was a girl. She was shaking frantically, blood covering her. Instantly he knew, it wasn't hers. He looked at the body next to her and noticed that it was lying flat on its back with its chest ripped open from the inside. It was hard to determine if it was a man or not.

He looked at the girl. "Leave."

She got up and ran away toward a destination that didn't interest him. As long as she was far away from what he was going to do next. He looked at the body and felt his fangs come out from excitement. He bent down and drank whatever was left of the carcass.

When he was done, he turned to see the girl looking at him, wide-eyed at his blood stained mouth and chest. She stuttered to say something.

"I—I—"

She ran away with fear gripping her every step. He got up and wiped his mouth with his sleeve as he looked at her annoyingly.

"Damn."

Then he disappeared into the shadows without giving the girl a second thought.
