Darkness overwhelms me a silent tear drips down my face. Shadows cast by the firelight dance menacingly. Screaming, Crying, Death, Stillness. My house my home my family, Burning to the ground in a plume of smoke. I step back onto the frosty ground of the woods. Searing pain in my side, a cut, deep, oozing, stained red. I lie down in the frost and sleep, A deep deathlike sleep. Then I wake, shaking in my bed, the nightmare fresh in my mind.
