Alyssa's POV
I woke up the next morning next to Stiles in the same position I fell asleep in. When I looked at my phone it was 9:30 am. I still have time before I have to go to work. I jumped around Stiles to get up.

When I looked at my phone I had a missed call from Derek. I could care less. I poked my head in Scott's room to find him up just laying in bed.

"Hey shit head." I said with a smile. He smiled back.

"What time do you have to be at work?" He asked.

"11:00 am." I said.

"I will take you. Let me know what time you think you'll get out and I will pick you up after I get mom home." he was being so nice today.

"Okay. Thanks Scott." I said.

"So what is up with you and that kid Jake?" He said with a smile.

"Nothing we are just friends. I need to figure out what is Derek's problem." I said. Then left the room.

I could care less about what is going on with Derek now. Maybe if he told me I could help him.

I put on my cute pair of Hollister jeans with a cute pink lace hollister top. I ran down stairs. "Come on Scott if I am late I will get fired."

"I am here Jeez. Let's go." Scott said while running down the stairs.

"Let's move it." I said to him .

"You look all Hollister out, it is to preppy." Scott said.

"Whatever you say shit head." I laughed and punched him in the arm.

We were joking around the whole car ride and messing around. I was making fun of him cause he is a dog. Literally!

I ended up getting there at 10:55. I am trying to make a good impression by getting there 5 minutes early. When I walked in I saw Jake.

"Well, look who it is. The most beautiful girl in the world is also punctual." I was blushing like crazy. He then came over to me and brushed his hand across my face.

I stepped back. "So what is my first job?"

"Well you can go to the front fold clothes and greet people as they walk in." he said

" Okay I will start then." I said then I walked to the front of the store.

I saw young girl come in with what looked like her mom.

"Hi! Welcome to Hollister. Is there anything I can help you guys with?" I asked them.

"Um were good." the older women said.

"Okay. Well if you need help just call me over." I said with a smile.

I spent the whole day folding clothes and greeting people.

"Hey Alyssa after work do you want to hang out for a little and go get something to eat?" He asked.

"Sure! Sounds great." I said. I sneaked a quick text to Scott saying that I didn't need a ride home.

By the time it was 4:00 I was exhausted and starving.

"Hey ready to go?" Jake said.

"Yea lets go. I am starving." I said. I then followed him to his car witch was in the parking lot. We both then hopped into his car.

"So where do you want to go?" I asked him.

"Umm do you want to go to Applebee's?" He said nervously.

"Sure sounds great. I love there nachos!" Jake just laughed at me.

When we got there they sat us immediately.

"So Alyssa, why have you not been in school? I would have noticed someone as beautiful as you."he said. I was blushing again.

"Um well I had an accident and I had to take a two week break from school. I will be back Wednesday. " I said.

"Oh, what happened?" He questioned.

"I fell down the school stairs and had some really bad injurys." I was obviously lying. I wish I could tell him what really happened.

"Where was your boyfriend during all this? If you were my girlfriend I would always keep my eyes on you and protect you." he said.

"He was just busy. He is always busy." I said. Looking down at the ground.

I had then quickly changed the subject. Finally we were done eating and he was going to take me home. When we got to my house he pulled over.

"Alyssa I really like you." he said then leaned in for a kiss. I leaned away.

"Jake I have a boyfriend I would not cheat on him." I said then got out of the car and opened the door when I heard Jake yell.

"I am sorry." He said.

"Don't try anything like that again. Okay?" I said then walked inside.

I walked upstairs and into my bedroom. I jumped into the shower and got ready for bed.

When I walked into my bedroom I saw Derek sitting in my bed.

"What do you want?" I said.

"Why were you out with that other guy?" Derek said looking pissed.

"What are you talking about? Jake and I are just friends." I said.

"Friends my ass. I saw him try to kiss you. I swear to god I am going to kill that little-" Derek started to say but I stopped him.

"You do not have a right to be a dick to me, and ignore, Not to mention nearly kill my brother and then come in here acting all righteous." I said.

"You have no clue what is happening."he said.

"Maybe if you actually told me I would know and be able to help you. And for you to think that I am cheating on you is ridiculous. Do you not even know my personality?" I said. I am so tired of his crap. He is absolutely no faith in me. I haven't done anything that would make him feel that way either.

"Alyssa I don't to tell you things to protect you. I don't need you getting hurt." he said.

"No you just don't want me to be another problem to you or screw up your plans. Besides I can protect myself and I can't wait to start my training again s-" I was cut of by Derek placing his lips on mine. I immediately melted in his grasp.

When our lips parted he said,"I am sorry. But, I am not worried about a mess I can deal with a mess. I can't deal with you getting hurt."

I said," There is only one person I know want to be with. Which is you and only you." I said then hugged him. I felt like this moment was perfect and I never wanted it to end.

When I tried to pull away to see what Derek was thinking Derek didn't let go. He just whispered," Just a few more seconds."

"Please just promise me that you aren't into that kid though." derek said nervously.

"What is someone jealous." Derek looked at me seriously. "Does this prove it to you?" I said then I kissed him hard and passionately.

When I pulled away he said,"I couldn't tell. Show me again." Then he pulled me into him. We both layed down on my bed and started making out.
