This is a mess, such a fucking mess.

as much as you'd like to shove all your achievements in kiko's face, your not willing to let Atsumu believe you and Bokuto are an actual couple, nor give him any details about your personal life.
But jesus christ did the sound of bragging lure you more than anything else. I mean, What's the worst that could happen? You turn to Bokuto and give him a questioning look. " Oh, sure. (y/n) and I will go, I'm still in town for a bit longer so it won't hurt."
You felt bad, It was obvious to you that Bokuto felt guilty. You'll apologize once Atsumu and Kiko leave. After all Bokuto is someone that you do care about, And it seems if anything that he feels the same way about you.
You don't really have anyone else, as desperate as that sounds. You can't relay on Atsumu or nearly anyone else. After Keiji broke up with you, all your friends left to go chase after him. Nothing has ever pissed you off as much as that.
You always suspected that they only hung out with you to get closer to Keiji or Bokuto, And you where right. Almost always they only asked about you and Keiji's relationships, In fact they had the audacity to try and break you guys up. Always trying to convince you that he was cheating or that he didn't care about you.
That was never the case, And the few times that you did believe them it always started arguments between you and Keiji. Afterward the both of you would be crying in each other's arms, chanting repeated apologies attempting to mend the others wounds.
You remember one argument you had was really nasty, Your friends had told you that Keiji was with another girl in the library, cheating on you. The reason it was such a bad argument was because you did find him in the library with a girl.
The girl was obviously flirting with Keiji, And Keiji didn't do anything about it. You didn't make any noise, You didn't sprint out or approach the two of them. You silently backed away and made your way down the hall.
It was 8:56 P.M exactly when your heart broke. It was so fucking painful seeing the two of them, Having fun Flirting with each other and just being with each other. You slowly made your way off the campus, wrapped Keiji's jacket around you and sat on the curb, sobbing.
It was embarrassing to think that you where crying over something so stupid, on the curb nonetheless. And it was just to your luck that you saw Bokuto approach you. He looked confused and concerned, Being that embarrassed only made you start to cry more.
Then and there you looked up at him and opened your arms, making a grabbing motion. It was very humiliating to make the motion a baby would to their mother to your boyfriend's best friend.
Bokuto did hug you back.
With open arms and an open heart, he help you while you where sobbing on the street corner at 9:00 PM.
After letting your tears soak his sleeve, He gently let go of you and sat at your side. No words where exchanged between you two, He stayed quite and just enjoyed being with you. He slowly stood up and reached for your hand slowly.
You decided to look up at him, He had a wide grin on his face and a glint in his eyes. You couldn't explain it now or ever, but it was something beautiful in his eyes. Something that you want, You reached for his hand. Slowly standing up.
You tripped a bit, Bokuto started laughing loudly as you fell into his side looking for stable support. He wrapped his arms around you, and you felt so safe. You felt on top of the world, no one could touch while you where there. And no one could touch Bokuto while you where with him.
You slowly parted from his warm body as much as you didn't want to. Bokuto grabbed your hand gently and started to lead you down the street, It was dark out but he lead the way for you. And you trusted him to lead you down the right path.
The two of you had eventually made your way to a small shop, He opened the door for you. You made your way inside, It was then that you realized he took you to an Ice cream shop. You laughed then, He took you all the way to an ice cream shop in the dark to make you feel better.
And it did, It wasn't the ice cream that made you feel better, It was bokuto. He lead you to the counter with a grin adorning his face. you looked around the shop, It was a small place but nonetheless you saw a large amount of ice cream, varieties of chocolate flavors and fruits.
Bokuto Had ordered (r/f) (random flavor) while you had ordered (f/f) (favorite flavor). He paid for the two of you despite your protests. He lead the two of you out of the shot and down a street, You where curious as to where he was gonna take you.
As much as you wanted to ask or turn around and leave, you trust Bokuto in this moment. He lead you to a park, it was empty as to be expected at 9:46 P.M.
He ran over to a swing and patted the one next to him. You started to laugh continuously, It was a great feeling. You felt free, You felt like a child again. Without worries, that's how Bokuto made you feel.
" hey (y/n)"
you looked over to see his face, he had this expression that you just couldn't describe. It was a mix of joy, regret and acceptance.
" yeah Bokuto "
He looked directly at you, the playfulness in his eye's was drained.
"I'm sorry."
you didn't understand, he looked at you with so much regret that it weighed on yourself.
" You didn't do anything Bokuto?"

This time he looked at you with a grin, it was a fake grin. But it didn't last too long, he quickly put on a sad smile while looking in the distance of the skyline, which had been barely visible at
10:00 P. M.

I'm having a bit of conflict on how i want things to end up. I think i'll do alternate endings
I'm kinda dedicating each few chapters to certain characters, Like right now we're doing Bokuto. Although I want reader to have a really rooted relationship with him that she doesn't recognize at the beginning, remember how she said that she doesn't have any history with him òwó.
