Dan's POV

All I had to do was upload. Just click one single button and it would be uploaded. I close my eyes and click. My video will be uploaded in about 2 hours. Great. 2 hours of waiting.

*2 hours later*
Finally, it's done. I hear my laptop beeping. Phil!! I answer the call.

"Hi Phil," I say.

"Hi Dan. We should me up in person sometime, before," he bubbles with excitement. "CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!"

"Ok Phil. Calm down," I laugh, fiddling with my hair. "Yeah we should. We could film a video together."

"How about sometime in the next few days?"

"Ok. I can't be bothered with Uni at the moment. Why did I pick Law of all things?"

"You wanted to look professional Dan. Remember?"

A couple of months ago I started University and Phil had helped me choose something that looked professional. Great choice there Dan.

"We'll set a date next time," Phil says.

"Ok. Oh Phil. I almost forgot. I uploaded the video on my channel earlier."

"I'll subscribe, see ya later Dan."

"See ya Phil."

The call ends and I start to fangirl internally. So. My favourite YouTuber has subscribed. To me. What a day.

19th October.
Phil's POV.

Dan should be here soon.

Dan should be here soon.

Dan should be here now.

Dan should be here now.

I'm standing outside a coffee shop waiting for Dan to arrive. He's 10 minutes late.

Maybe he's decided not to come.

Maybe this was all a joke.

Maybe he never actually liked me.

I'm about to leave when a lanky teenage boy comes running down the street. That can't be Dan. Dan doesn't run.

"Phil," he chokes out, coughing and spluttering.

"Hey Dan," I say hugging him.

He hugs back and I enjoy the warmth.

"Are we gonna go into the cafe, or are you gonna keep hugging me like a child at Christmas?"

My face lights up at the word 'Christmas'; me and Dan walk into the empty cafe. I order a funsize hot chocolate, whilst Dan orders a caramel latte. You would never have guessed I'm older.

We sit down in the corner, cos corners are fun. We quietly sip our drinks and I stare into Dan's chocolate brown eyes. I get lost in them for a moment, until Dan brings me out of the daydream.

"What?" I ask.

"I was asking you what we should call the video."

"Philisnotonfire?" I suggest, the lamest possible idea.

"Yeah, I like it. It should go on your channel," he says, smiling.

My heart seems to melt when he smiles. No Phil. Just no.

"Ok," I say, my voice faltering.

We finish our drinks, and head back to mine with my heart still beating in my chest.

*Next day*

"Phil, wake up! Phil! If you don't wake up now, Lion is going for a fly out the window!"

"I'm up!" I shout, NO-ONE hurts Lion.

Dan laughs, as I grab Lion and put him back on my bed.

"A 22 year old can still have a toy lion," I say.

"I didn't say anything. We need to film the video," Dan says, already ready to film.

He must be excited.

Dan's POV

Ok. So I'm in my favourite YouTubers house. Wow. That escalated quickly. I go get ready, leaving Phil to sleep. Traditional black skinny jeans and short sleeve shirt, sorted.

I get done stuff that seems to cover up my scars.

*Present day*

"That stuff that I cover up my scars with, I still use today. It hides them."

I look down. Maybe I should show them. I go to the bathroom to wash the stuff off and come back into my room. The scars litter my arm, crossing this way and that. I hold my arm up to the camera.

"See? I'm no different to you guys."

I leave my scars showing for the rest of the video.

Hey there. Sorry I've not uploaded in ages. I've been concentrating on a different fanfic, one which I have more ideas about and where I'm going with it. This is why I've been neglecting this story so much. I'm gonna try to upload over Xmas, but I can't promise anything.
