"Remember when you tried to write me off?
Remember when you thought I'd take a loss?"

***

My first instinct is to look at Chris who has an unreadable expression on his face. Then my gaze falls on Harry who is sitting back on the chair, one leg over the other, smirking at my reaction.

I'd hate to give him the satisfaction of it all, so the look of shock is gone from my face as soon as it came.

I turn back to Chris, "Contact Payne. Tell him to get here as soon as he can."

He nods and leaves the room. I sigh and turn back to Harry, gathering my composure and folding my arms behind my back.

"So, Mr. Styles, innit?"

"Indeed. Harry Styles, leader of Malevolent." He offers his hand for me to shake with a smile on his face as if he wasn't just caught by my men sneaking into our territory.

I stare at him for a moment, taking in his appearance. I'm pretty sure I look weird scanning him like that but honestly, I couldn't care less.

His body is exquisitely masculine, hard yet soft at the same time, muscular but not aggressive. The black ink on his skin is a perfect combination, as is his long, curly hair which almost reach his shoulders, clinging to his chiseled jaw.

For someone who's a gang leader, he sure is younger than the most. I thought lately I was the only one to be leading a gang at a young age.

I just stare at him coldly while tilting my head a bit, completely ignoring his hand as I mutter, "Cohen. Pretty sure you already know that."

He nods as he mutters something under his breath and pulls his hand back hesitantly, placing it back in his lap.

I turn to Louis, giving him an unimpressed look. "What took you so long to bring him in? The other guy was brought in much earlier."

Louis is one of the most trusted and the best men of the gang but sometimes he tends to act like a six year old with a hell lot of sass or just carelessness. As much as I hate it, I still have to bite my tongue from saying anything to him at times.

He's very good at what he does but the problem is, he is well aware of it.

"Just some things.." he trails off and I can tell that it was his carelessness again.

"We'll have to talk about this later, Tomlinson." I seethe as I hear the door open and see Chris stepping in silently, trying his best not to interrupt.

"So, why sneak into our territory like that? What are you up to now? Planning on killing me this time?" I direct my attention towards Harry and asking him the first thing that comes to my mind.

"Woah, slow down there, Irene-" he says as he raises his hands in defense, his words making me raise my eyebrows in a slight shock. I'm sure Chris and Louis have the same expressions on their faces.

For a gang leader who's been here for less than five minutes, it's a bit of a reach.

"That's Cohen to you." I snap almost instantly, not letting him speak any further.

It was an obvious fact that no one called me by my first name, especially the men who worked for me. Very few people used my first name and that was only when we were alone. Otherwise, I was addressed by my last name and I preferred to keep it that way due to personal reasons.
