I happily walked outside, passing the busy corridors of San Sebastian University Medical Center. Doctors were always busy, and patients keep on coming. This is what a day looks like here, again and again.

"Mam! Good morning!" Dino, the janitor greeted me.

"Hi! Goodmorning din, let's make it a good day!" I smiled. I continued walking papunta sa information desk, I checked my schedule and noticed that it was quite too heavy.

"Madami ba ngayon 'mam?" the intern asked me, isa sya sa mga naka-duty sa desk. Tiningnan ko lang sya at nginitian, when times like this happen, complaining was not really effective, I have to provide service. That's my rule.

"Let's make it a good day!" bati ko bago pumasok sa staff room. So I have a patient this morning, scheduled 8:00. I arranged the papers and power up the computer.

I checked my first patient's history, but since she's way too young ay hindi naman nagtagal ang pagbabasa ko. She's just 20 years old, and already on her 5th month in pregnancy and so far healthy naman ito.

Regardless of how young and old the patient is, I don't have the right to judge them. I encountered a lot of people in this job, with their different situations and beliefs, pakiramdam ko ay madami na akong natututunan.
I rested for a while, maaga akong pumasok ngayon dahil kahapon naman ay nakapagpahinga ako ng maayos.

"Goodmorning, Mam Dan," pumasok ang isa pang U-S Tech. Sya ang madalas na kasama ko, she handed me a paper bag. I looked at her with confusion.

"Galing kanino 'to?" I muttered while opening it up, she's fixing her hair while wearing her white gown.
"Kanino pa ba?" she answered.

Small lunchbox ang nandun with some chocolate bars and coffee drinks. May naka post-it-note pa sa ibabaw ng lunchbox.

'Take care of the soon-to-be-babies well, we'll have ours soon,'

I opened my phone and called him. I was smiling all along, both eyes still on what he wrote. He answered it with just a minute, the loud sounds of machine and human noise welcomed me.

"Hoy!" bati ko sakanya, I heard him saying 'just a minute' sa mga kasamahan nya.

"Ano?" his voice was still not clear, but I understand it anyway.
"Bakit ka pa nag-abala sa lunchbox? Busy ka nga, tapos gagawa ka pa," i said it with a 'paawa' tone, kahit ang totoo naman e natutuwa ako sa ginawa nya.
