"Helping me? Why me? E hindi naman ako yung naging jowa ni steven," takang tanong ko. He's already driving when i opened up about what he said awhile ago.

"Namromroblema ka sakanya e, nangangapa ka kung san' sya hahanapin, kaya naisip ko na.. baka kailangan mo ako," he sighed.

"Kailangan kita?" i joked, almost close to singing it.

He stopped the car, lumabas sya para bumili ng maiinom sa isang convenience store. While he was buying, i used it as the time to think about what he said earlier.. He's not helping jane, but he's helping me? ang gulo naman!
Although, i admit that he got this skill of making me feel so nervous. Like grabe yung mga sinasabi nya na para bang may special kind of effect sakin.

He got back, he handed me a bottled iced-tea drink. Sya naman e ganun din, pero may canned-beer na kasama. He started driving again, hindi talaga ako mapakali kaya nag-isip ako ng pwedeng itanong sakanya.

"But still, helping me was close to helping jane na rin, so ayun connected parin naman," i muttered, he doesn't look at me but i saw him smile.

"I don't like your friend, honestly,"

"Ha? why?" he's still not looking at me, pero okay lang yun mamaya mabunggo kami e.

"She changed herself way too much, everytime she's with steven she's forcing herself to transform into something she's not," he answered.
"Mabait naman yun ah," pagtatanggol ko. Aba syempre, bestfriend ko yun e!

"She tried smoking, vaping, and--" hindi nya na yun tinuloy nang mapansing nanlulumo na ako.
I can't help but to feel sorry for her, to feel bad why she need to be in that situation.

"I know," i answered.

Napatingin na sya sakin, nasa tapat na pala kami ng dorm. I was about to take my leave when he stopped me by holding my wrist.

"I hate to see a girl like that, kaya nga nung nakita kita na sumasama sakanya sa club before and after her relationship with steven, i feel bad. You obviously don't like things like that," he said while looking at me closely.

"What im saying is, if a guy is really interested in you. Then hindi lang dapat isa ang nag-eeffort na mag-fit in sa magkaiba nilang mundo, dapat tulungan yun." i looked at him and smiled.

"You're right....uh, thank you for tonight. Pramis ibabalik ko yung nagamit ko!" i promised and as soon as i stepped out of the car, i waved my hand at him.

But my heart almost burst out, when i see kevin standing infront of me. He's looking straight at me, napayuko naman ako kaagad. Baka magalit sya nang makitant kasama ko si hendrix, but its not for romantic purposes naman e educational yun!

"What was that?" he coldly said.

"It was-- uhm, Kasi ganito--" he cut me off by getting my things in my hand.

"Gabing gabi na, di ka man lang nagtext kung san ka pupunta," mahinahon nyang sabi.Bago naglakad papunta sa hagdan, napalunok ako ng ilang beses.
