This story is based off of the Apple TV series- Defending Jacob.
The series is still currently being shown at the time of writing this (08/05/2020) so sometimes I'll have to wait for the next episode to come out so I can write the next chapter.
I also don't have access the the series when I write so I will do my best to keep the same dialogue as in the show but I can't remember it all exactly.
However, I have read the book so I do have an idea of where the story goes and I will try to keep it fairly similar to how the original story goes but I'll have to change a few things.
