Y/N woke up the next morning and sighed softly, her eyes still heavy with tiredness. She sighed softly, thinking back to the day she had yesterday. Man, that was a totally fun day.
She learned a lot, to be fair. She rolled over but jumped as a little as she rolled into something. Jacob was the something. And as she looked down, Y/N noticed that he had his arm around her torso. She rolled her eyes a little and pulled his arm off from her before she sat up, quietly, not wanting to wake him. Unfortunately, Jacob had the worlds most creaky bed ever so the bed squeaked as her weight was lifted off of it.
Jacob rolled over before his eyes slowly started to open and Y/N cursed herself for not being quieter. Great, now he was going to talk to her. And then she spotted something. Jacobs laptop was still sitting at the end of his bed from when Y/N had been using it the night before. Did he know she was on it? She guessed she was going to find out sooner or later.
Jacob looked at her and squinted a little, "Y/N?" He mumbled as his vision came into focus and he fought to keep his tired eyes open. Y/N sighed and turned to look at him, nodding a little.
"Yeah its me, don't cream your pants." Y/N answered, knowing full when that Jacob probably would do that. It was Jacob, after all and after the stuff she'd heard in court and seen on that laptop, there wasn't much he could do that would genuinely surprise her. Jacob groaned softly and sat up, stretching before slouching again and rubbing his eyes.
"Hey, don't be like that." Jacob sighed and looked at her before looking away again, "It's too early for that crap, I need waffles before I deal with all of that." He chuckled softly as he leaned back and watched her go through her closet. She looked through her clothes and couldn't decide which ones to grab, he looked over at her, "You could wear that top with the flowers on it, I always think that it looks pretty nice."
Y/N pulled the top out of the closet and half expected to see that it was too small for her, and that would be the reason Jacob liked it so much but it wasn't. If anything, it was too big so she shrugged and threw it over her arm as she grabbed a pair of jeans. "Sure." She mumbled as she turned around to look at him before going to grab underwear and a bra.
Jacob glanced back at his laptop. Still sitting at the end of his bed. He scratched the back of his head and sighed, remembering walking up to bed and seeing it the night before. Seeing a familiar website open, he assumed Y/N had been looking and if he was being honest then he wasn't mad. He couldn't exactly blame her for being curious- or concerned. He would be if it was the other way around.
"So uh.. when you came up here yesterday, when we got back from the trial.." He started and looked back at her, watching the way she froze up a little at the question. She thought that she knew where the question was going but she shrugged casually, looking at him to continue. "Did you go on my laptop?" He asked, not seeming mad about it either.
Y/N considered how she should respond before she nodded, without even thinking it through. She would, normally, have thought through her response carefully but after recent events, she didn't really care what he thought or what he said. "Yeah, I did. I figured that you wouldn't mind."
Jacob shook his head a little and waved his hand dismissively, "Oh, no, I don't mind. I was just uhm... wondering what you were doing on it." Jacob looked at her, he knew the answer but he wanted to see if she'd admit to it.
"Wanted to read some fan fiction." She turned and glanced at him, giving him a knowing look before looking away again. Jacob smiled at her response, he loved the way she could always answer a question so indirectly but so directly at the same time.
"Oh, right." Jacob responded, "So which ones did you read..?" He asked, figuring that she might have liked at least one of them. The one that didn't involve violent kinks. The one that he named, 'The Honeymoon'. Based on a very real fantasy of his.
"Most of them," she shrugged, "I gave up after the third one though, they were all pretty gross." She grimaced at him and then rolled her clothes up into a ball.
Jacob raised an eyebrow at her, realising she didn't read the one that might have made her slightly less mad at him. "Oh, okay." He sighed softly and ran his hand through his hair before sighing and leaning back on the bed, looking at the ceiling briefly and biting his lip.
Y/N paused for a moment, waiting for him to continue. Jacob sat forwards again before he stood up and stepped towards her, "Look, Y/N, we do really need to talk about this.." Y/N looked away from him and he gently took her hand, "You don't have to talk about it right now, but we need to talk things over at some point. I don't want to lose you. I can't lose you." He said as he looked her in the eye, looking for some sort of answer to his question. "I know how mad you are about this but seriously.. Y/N I'm sorry."
Y/N looked back at him for a moment and shrugged before she moved away from him and picked up her clothes, "I'm going to take a shower." She announced as she walked to the door.
Jacob sighed and looked down, rubbing his eyes gently, losing all hope of them talking things over at her blunt response. But to his surprise, as she got to the door- she turned and looked at him, "But we can talk.. later." She said with a little smile before leaving the room and shutting the door behind her.
