Second Person POV

Slicing through the foxtail millet field Kohaku gathered just enough for the dish. "Are you excited Senku, we're making gourmet survival food from scratch," you smiled, while he nodded. While Senku, Suika, and yourself began to bang the millet on rocks. Kohaku and Chrome just stared at all of you, "We aren't actually eating this foxtail millet are we?"

"We're whacking the hell out of it so we can eat it," Senku explained. "Foxtail millet is genuinely ten billion percent grain, it's a primitive millet."

When all of you were finished you looked at it.

"It looks nasty," Chrome said with a look of disgust. "Just give it a while, when we're done with it I swear you're going to like it~" you purred.

Senku ordered Chrome to get water from the nearest water source. When he came back we dumped the millet into the water and began stirring it in a circulate motion. When you thought it was ready you began dumping out the water, being sure you didn't spill any of the millet.

When it was done drying we put it on a stone and began grinding it with another. It's a cycle of inspiration and trial and error. Food is a perfect example of science. Now we have wheat flour or rather a foxtail millet flour.

"Toss in a wild bird egg, and tenderize it using potassium carbonate," he said as he did each step one by one. When it was done he began to stretch the noodle, and when that was complete he cut the noodle into pieces that could easily fit into the mouth.

When it came time for the broth Kohaku had gathered chicken meat, while you gathered an assortment of edible plants. "This scent," Chrome and Kohaku stated. "We had a name for this stupidly good scientific food 3700 years ago, and its name was ramen!!"

"But this is actually foxtail millet, isn't it?" Kohaku said picking at her food.

"I'll make sure it's safe, it's the duty of any sorcerer to try anything new!" Chrome explained shoving a ton of it into his mouth.

"It's so good!!"

When Kohaku and Suika saw Chrome's reaction they thought it couldn't be that bad and tried it. And boy did they like it, as soon as they took the first bite they began shoving mouthful into their mouth. "It's so chewy and slurpy," Suika exclaimed shoving as much food as she could in her mouth.

As soon as the three were done you handed Senku a bowl. "Let's eat," you said smiling.

As soon as the two of you took a bite you gagged, while Senku just spat it out. "It's not the best but it's edible," you said trying to keep an open mindset.

What did I expect from foxtail millet? It's so damn crumbly, and it has a horribly bitter aftertaste. I guess it's edible if you like the taste of medicine. But for them, I'm sure it tastes like food from the gods, Senku thought.

From the inside of the village, the villagers could hear what seemed to be the sound of an instrument made from the noise of Suika's flute. Wanting to know what all the ruckus was all about people began coming over.

People have waged wars over pepper. That's how fundamental food is to civilization.

When a handful of citizens came they awed the strange arrangement in front of them. You and the others had all made a ramen truck so the villages didn't have to walk that far to get the oh so delicious food.

"I'm going to colonize this village with the scientific food that is ramen. With this gourmet dish of science, I can find enough manpower to make steel."

While the ramen was being handed out you could see the delighted look on everyone's faces. "Are you the one who made this? Your name is Senku right?" A girl said approaching Senku. "Say, what type of girls do you like?"

"I like girls who can pump a ton of oxygen into a furnace," he stated. Walking up close to the girl Kohaku whispered, "He means (H/c)-haired girl, specifically that one over there," she pointed towards you. The only response Kohaku received was a puff of the cheeks and a whip of the hair.

"Hey! I thought I told you not to tease me!"

"Your fault~"

Now looking over at Chrome you realized he was trying to give food to Kinro and Ginro. "Hey Kinro, Ginro, try some of this ramen." Ginro literally jumped at the sight of food.

"We will not consume that questionable sorcery food," Kinro said pulling his brother back. "Wait, so you won't take food but you'll take a golden spear?"

"Yeah, Kinro," his brother agreed while his brother just clicked his tongue and looked someplace else.

When Kohaku saw your joyed face she giggled at how cute you looked. No wonder Senku liked you so much, your skills and knowledge were admirable, your personality was just so incredibly nice and kind, and your looks could beat all of whom who lived in the village including, Garnet, Saphire, and Ruby the village 'hotties'.

"(Y/n), come over here," Kohaku waved.

"Okay, coming," you said.

"The response is incredible don't you think? Everyone is coming over."

Senku nodded, "That's not a problem. I'll just work them to death in portions to however much they ate."

"The faces you make are always so sketchy."

"Oh Kohaku, they're not that bad," you stated looking away slightly embarrassed.

Looking to the side and unfamiliar face stood out. Did that guy come from the village, why is he here? you examined the man.

His hair was split between the right half, which is white with the hair reaching his chin, although the left half is short and black. His eyes are baggy and have a jagged stone mark running down his left eye in an angled line. His petrification scar is healed by his second de-petrification.

"This is making me thirsty for a drink. Like, cola."

"Cola?" Both you and Senku said.

"Senku, (Y/n) is he with you?"

We shook our heads.

"Kinro, Ginro, I'll get straight to the point. Enemy."

Jumping up Kinro and Ginro went into battle position, ready to attack the unnamed man.
