There were a lot of questions that needed to be answered about this drug I did not even have a name for it yet. I decided when I got back to Andre’s place I would call Nuri and see if she had any answers about where I could get more info the case. I did not know if she had any info on the drug specifically, but it was my only option for now without rushing around town shaking up people and that could cause a problem fast. I did not need more of those hyped up summoners knocking at my door without backup I am pretty sure that guy with the fire tiger would have cleaned my clock without the Captain and Samson there.

I did not think that Samson’s summon would be so vicious an elf with pin point accuracy and the power of plants. Samson had summoned her on top of a building nearby and she was the one making sure that guy did not smash my brains in or turn my organs to chum. The Captain’s griffin was nothing to sneeze at either, although it is one of the more common of the summons hers was on another level. It picked up that tiger like a child and moved through the air with enough speed to turn it to street pizza. Makes me wonder what I will do once Grog hits Rank 5.

“Oh I know the improved Grog Bomb.” Grog said though the mind link.

“We really need to stop you from watching wrestling you are going to get yourself killed trying that stuff on dangerous summons.”

“What why all the drama the passion for the sport and don’t forget the diva babes besides some of my best moves are from WrestleMania matches I got on dvd.”

“When did you get money to buy a dvd?”

“Oh I uh just got onto your hub account thought you would not mind I mean Christmas is only six months away.”

“You are going to pay for that Grog maybe Andre could use someone to clean the bathrooms in the club.”

“Ug no way! Do you see what the orcs do to that room after they use it makes me glad I don’t use bathrooms?”

“In any case no more buys without my permission we are on a budget and I might need the cash for important things like food.”

“What are you worried about SSS had a cafeteria right in the base you don’t have to buy food I hear its actually pretty good”

“We don’t need to always rely on others Grog we have to make sure that we can work independently.”

“It’s not bad to take up free services of your job Maxey does not say anything bad about you. I mean I don’t know why you don’t bunk with the SSS either I mean I like Andre and Vanessa, but would it not be easier to do your job if you could be called in quickly?”

“You’re always in my head Grog you know why I don’t want that. While I respect the SSS and what they do I am not one to be a lap dog either. I like to keep my freedom where I can have it.”

“Man the lone wolf type your dad was right you’re just like some kind of action hero.”

I stayed quiet for a second the thought of my father had not crossed my mind all day and yet it still hit hard when I finally did think about him.

“I know you miss him Maxey we will find him.”

“Yea we will.” I said pulling up to the Andre’s club.

The place was not nearly as busy it was about 5 am all the people wanting to party are mostly likely in their beds or some alley passed out. All that was left where a few of the regulars who came in for a quiet drink. I flagged down the bartender who was a six armed man he slid a beer down my way my usual poison of choice St. Patty’s brew. The stuff could put a Troll on his back that’s why one was all I needed and it was cheap. Not that I needed to pay Andre made sure to tell the staff of this place that I got what I needed. I could see that the damage that I had put on the bar with my fight had already been fixed. The summons world had one heck of a crack cleanup crew. You hear about those little people from Germanic lore that would clean your house while you slept or fixed shoes. Well apparently they went around the human world fixing whatever they can it’s almost like an obsession to them. Of course the council makes sure they are compensated. Especially when they do clean up jobs for the SSS it’s how we can tear up half a city block and still have people none the wiser.
