Kai had gone to the library to get some peace and quiet to read and get his work done. When he got back to the house though, he realized he had left his keys inside when he had first left. And the door was locked. It was early winter and the temperature wasn't too bad, but it got colder by the hour. His phone was dead and he had no way of contacting (Canon Character) who was at work. So, he sat out on the front doorstep, to wait for their shift to end, and regretted not bringing his winter coat with him as the temperature steadily dropped. Finally, with his fingers and toes numb and snow in hishair and on his eyelashes, Chisaki looked up and saw a familiar car pull up to the driveway, (Canon Character) hopping out of it quickly and rushing over to check on why he was outside and shivering so badly. "L-l-l-l-locked the keys in the-e-e-e house wehn I lef-f-ft to go to the L-Library... B-b-been outside for a few h-h-hours..." Kai explained with chattering teeth. He had been annoyed at first, now he was downright frozen and his cheeks and nose were bright red, both hands hidden in the sleeves of his sweater and the scarf covering his mouth a bit.
