Zain had gone out of the city after that night. He didn't want to talk to anybody and if he had gone to his apartment, Usman or Hashim might have come after him. Now, after two days he had come back. He stopped his car in front of the apartment and sat in the car for some time. Then he got out of the car and moved towards the door of his apartment. Suddenly, a blast occurred and Zain felt a pang of severe pain in his abdomen. Clenching his abdomen, he fell to the ground immediately. The bullet had come from the front. Zain took out his gun and started firing in that direction. After some time he realized that someone else was also firing at his enemy from behind him. He turned to have a look and saw Usman at some distance. Usman noticed his gaze and made a V sign to him, indicating two enemies. Zain nodded and turned back. They both kept firing but then realized that the firing from the other side has stopped. Usman quickly came towards him and sat beside him.
"I am injured." Zain sighed. Usman took his shirt up to examine the wound.
"We have to go to the hospital. The bullet is deep inside." He said.
"Can't you do this?" Zain asked, pleadingly. Usman stared at him for a moment and hesitantly nodded.
"Then do it inside," Zain said.
"Let me take you inside." Usman nodded and picked up the keys from the ground. Zain had dropped them when he had fallen. Usman opened the door. In the meanwhile, Zain had managed to get up. They both came inside. Usman laid him down on the couch.
"Where is the first aid box?" He asked.
"In the kitchen, the first cabinet from the left," Zain said. Usman nodded and went to the kitchen. When he came back, he had it in his hands.
"Wow, you have everything in it." He said, opening the box on the central table. Zain looked at him as if he was mad and exposed his wound.
"It will cause you pain, so you have to be strong." Usman indicated to the wound, taking out some alcohol wipes.
"I know how much it will hurt, just do it now," Zain said angrily.
"Okay now this attitude is not helping!!" Usman stopped.
"USMAN!" Zain glared at him.
"Okay. Okay." He quickly turned to the wound and started wiping it. After clearing the wound, he started to take out the bullet. Zain had to prevent himself from screaming. His face was red with pain and beads of sweat all over his body. After fifteen minutes, Usman was succeeded in his task.
"This is the bullet that made a hole in your body." He picked up the bloody bullet and showed it to Zain.
"I swear by God, I ma never gonna let you do this task." He said.
"Alright," Usman said angrily and put the bullet in a sealing bag. He then started dressing his wound.
"Usman?" Zain asked after a moment.
"What?"
"How is everybody?" Zain asked. Usman looked up from his wound.
"Not good, they all miss you. Also with the wedding so close." He said. Zain didn't reply. He was on the verge of making some decisions. Usman looked at him for a moment and then continued,
"Moona pretends to be okay but she is not."
"What do you mean?" Zain asked, confused.
"She surely is missing you but she will never admit." He said. Zain just nodded.
"So when are you coming back to the villa?" Usman asked again.
"I am not coming back."
"Why?"
