Hashim had gone to pick up Humna and Khadija from the salon. Usman was driving Moona, Shanzay, and Saadia with him. Nevertheless, at this moment they were all standing in the lawn waiting for Yumna and Shanzay who were getting ready in their room.
"How much more?" Khalil asked her wife with anger.
"Just some moments, Khalil." She tried to calm him down.
"We are already getting late." He looked at his wristwatch.
"I think you guys should go. Yumna will come with us." Moona suggested.
"Yes. We have a seat for her." Usman nodded.
"Okay." Khalil nodded and stood up. "But do hurry up."
"We will," Usman said. Khalil went towards his car. Salma and Asad followed him. When they had gone Usman turned to Moona.
"What did Mr. Zain say to you?" He asked. Moona stared at him with doubt on her face.
"Why do you care?" She frowned.
"What do you mean?" Usman asked in a shock.
"He said he will tell everybody himself."
"What?"
"What he told me," Moona said.
"So he is not coming?" Usman asked again.
"Of course not." Moona glared at him and went inside. Usman just sighed and went behind her. He sat there in the lounge while Moona went to the girls' room.
"When will you guys be ready?" She asked.
"Just a moment," Yumna said adjusting her dupatta.
"Your father has gone, you know that?" She asked, raising a brow.
"What?" She turned to her. Shanzay also stopped in her place.
"Now you are going with us." She said.
" Was he angry?" She asked.
"Of course he was," Moona stated the fact. Her phone beeped. She took out the phone from her clutch. It was a message from Zain.
"I have to meet Humna in the bridal room. So arrange it."
"I am in the villa. I'll arrange your meeting when I'll reach the marque." She texted back.
"Okay, I am ready," Shanzay announced. She was wearing a beautiful black saree while Moona was wearing a simple peach colored maxi.
"Wow, you look beautiful." Moona smiled brightly at her then turned to Yumna, "We will wait only for five minutes then we'll leave you behind." She said and came out of the room with Shanzay.
"Thank God, you girls are ready!!" Usman exclaimed then stopped in his place. Wait, why is Yumna not with you?" He asked.
"She will be here any minute," Moona assured him and turned to Haniya who was sitting on the couch with Usman.
"Right. This means more wait." Usman sighed and sat back in his place. Shanzay smiled at his reaction and went to sit on the chair placed beside the couch. After some moments Yumna came out.
"How am I looking?" She asked standing in front of Moona. She was wearing a very beautiful maroon lehenga (a fancy skirt, mostly wore by girls at weddings in Pakistan), with a black silk blouse.
"Stunning as always." Moona smiled and stood up. "Let's go, your father will be very angry." They came out on the lawn. Usman opened the door of the passenger seat. Moona elbowed Shanzay to sit there. She smiled at her reaction and went towards the open door.
"So Zain Bhai is not really coming!" Yumna sighed as they had sat in the car.
"Be merry, don't think about him," Usman said looking at her in the back-view mirror. Moona stared at him for a moment then looked away. She was smiling in her heart, imagining the faces of the family when they will be shocked to see Zain at the wedding........................
"It's going to be okay. Just leave it already." Sadia scolded Humna who was continuously adjusting her red dupatta. She was wearing a beautiful red lehenga.
"It's not comfortable." She protested.
"It's because you are not mentally comfortable. Okay." Moona said. Saadia and Moona were present in the bridal room with Humna while Salma had taken the others with her. Moona grabbed Saadia's hand and took her to the other side of the room.
"There is something I am going to tell you but you have to remain silent and normal. It's a surprise for Humna." She said.
"What is it?" Saadia asked.
"Zain is coming and he is coming right here." She said.
"WHAT? HERE?" Saadia shrieked.
"Shshshhh." Moona shushed her quickly.
"What's going on?" Humna asked suspiciously.
"Nothing dear," Saadia said and turned back to Moona. "But Moona Haris' family will be here any minute."
"Zain will be quick. He is just coming." Moona said and turned to the door which just opened and Zain came in, smiling mischievously.
"There he is." Moona smiled and nodded at him. He nodded back. He was wearing a black sherwani.
"Wow, you look great." Saadia smiled at him. Humna who was again busy with her dupatta looked up at her voice and then stood up immediately.
"Hello, Dulhan (bridal)." Zain smiled at her.
"Get out of here! You are not allowed to attend my wedding!!" Humna yelled. Tears forming in her eyes. Zain stopped in her place. Saadia grabbed Moona's hand and came out of the room.
"Why?" Moona asked.
"Let them talk in private. We will make sure no one enters the room." She said pulling a chair for her and sat beside the door. Moona stared at her and then did the same.
