Moona was standing in her balcony staring out in the street. After her argument with Hashim, she had come back to her home. Haniya was sleeping in the bed. She turned her head and watched her daughter sleeping intently.
"You know I want a daughter. I want to love her as mush as I can. I want to tell her that she is very lucky to have a father. A father who loves her so much that he can do anything for her. Even he can give his life to protect her." Taimoor had said to her when he knew that she was pregnant. Moona wept silently as memories of her husband came into her mind.
"I think that's my car." Moona's first dialogue with Taimoor was not very pleasant. She had come out of her brother's office after an argument and she was in a very bad mood when she saw him standing there with his back leaned over her car.
"There is nowhere written that I cannot stand here." Taimoor replied.
"Didn't your parents teach you basic manners?" She asked.
"Actually no, they both died when I was very young to understand anything." Taimoor told her, leaving her car and smiling mischievously. Moona glared at him and sat in her car.
"He is going to be dead." She had muttered under her breath as Taimoor gave her way.
The next she met him at the villa when she was sitting in the lawn. Suddenly a car came inside the main gate stopping on the pavement. Taimoor came out of the car and waved at her. She turned herself to look at the flowers when he came and stood beside her.
"So you live here." he said looking at the beauty of the villa.
"Why? Do you live on a street?"
"No I live in my house." Taimoor said confused.
"So do I." Moona said and went inside to tell Khalil.
"What are you to Mr. Khalil?" He said rushimg inside behind her.
"I am his sister and come let me show you the path of sitting room." She said and led him to the siiting room. Taimoor just smiled and looked at her as she walked out.
In the next four months Moona had come very close to him as she concluded that he was not that bad after all. He just became irritated sometimes. The change came when Khalil had asked her about him whether she liked him or not and she had said that she did like him. So Khalil told her that he had proposed her. And Moona had stormed off to his house to give him a piece of her mind. That night had turned her life upside down.
"Moona?" Shanzay's voice led her out of her thoughts.
"What are you doing here? You will get cold. Come inside." She held her from her arm and led her inside.
"You okay?" She asked worriedly.
"Yes, I am okay. When did you come?" She asked her sitting on the couch as Haniya was sleeping in the bed.
"I just came. I saw you standing there from the street. What were you doing there?"
"Nothing, It's just Taimoor's memories.."
"You need to be strong Moona." Shanzay put her hand on her shoulder.
"I think I am breaking now." Moona said, tears forming in her eyes.
"No, you can't. We are all with you."
"Hashim shouldn't have done that." Moona shook her head.
"He didn't do anything wrong. He was with me that night." Shanzay said softly.
"Was he?" Moona looked at her.
