The next day breakfast was eaten in silence. Shanzay was also present. In fact, she had stayed at Moona's place. After breakfast, they all sat in the lounge. Zain had dozed off while Usman looked at him with pity then shook his shoulder.
"Go home and have some rest. I will go to the office." He said.
"But you also need rest," Zain replied.
"I'll rest when you will come to the office in the evening," Usman said. Zain nodded and stood up. He had reached the door when Shanzay's phone rang. He turned back. Shanzay picked up the call.
"Yes, baba?" She asked. It was Munib on the other side. "Your place? Now? Are you alright? Okay, I am coming. Okay." She hung up and picked her handbag. "My father is not feeling good!" She said and went outside. Zain followed her quickly. They both shared worried glances which were witnessed by Hashim who was standing in the lawn with Saud in his arms.

When Zain entered his apartment, he was shocked to see someone sitting in the small lawn in front of the glass wall of the lounge. Zain quickly reached the person but upon coming nearer him, he could see that it was a corpse. He moved around it to see the face. He had been a man in his late twenties or maybe early thirties. Zain took out his mobile and dialed Usman.
"Come to my place with a team. There is a body here." He said urgently and hung up. A piece of paper in the corpse' lap got Zain's attention. He picked it up and read.
"This is Mazher. I had no idea that he was going to do this to Moona and Yumna. Last night when Aasim found out he killed him. Well, he deserved this. I am trying to find out where is Yumna, she will be with her family soon. Hope for the best.
Ubaid!"Zain stared at the corpse, this was the man who brought all the miseries to his family and he didn't even get the chance to deal with him. Zain clenched his fists and went inside. He sat in the lounge and waited for Usman. Usman arrived after ten minutes. He was alone and came straight inside. Zain looked at him. Usman couldn't read the expression in his eyes.
"So what's wrong? Where is the body?" He asked instead.
"Follow me," Zain said standing from the couch. Usman followed him out on the lawn. They both stood silent in front of Mazher's body.
"Who was he?" Usman asked after some moments of silence. Zain gave him the piece of paper silently. Usman started reading it when Zain's mobile rang. It was Shanzay.
"Zain, I want you to come to my father's house." She said.
"Why? Is everything okay?" He asked quickly. Usman had finished reading by now and was looking at him.
"Yeah. I am about to give you very happy news." She said with enthusiasm, "Yumna is here with me."
"WHAT!!!" Zain shouted. Usman jumped from his place and glared at Zain but Zain ignored him. "How is she?" He asked. Usman, who had gotten himself back to read the paper again, looked up at him again, this time with confusion.
"She is okay. Really okay but I can't take her back. You need to come here." Shanzay replied.
"Alright, I am coming." Zain nodded and hung up. He turned to Usman who was still staring at him. "Yumna. She is with Shanzay and I am going to get her. Complete your work here and join me at Moona's place." And with that, he left. Usman stood in his place with his brain close enough to burst with all the questions in it!
...........................
Zain arrived at Munib's mansion. He quickly came out of his car and ran towards the gate. The guard who stood there immediately came forward to stop him.
