It was a dark night. The moon shone directly overhead. A thick tangle of branches and leaves stopped the moon light from reaching the ground. If one looked carefully one would notice the dark silhouettes of three men creeping through the labyrinth of trees. Suddenly one of the men- presumably the leader since he was in front of the remaining two men- raised his hand gesturing to his companions to stop. The three men had stopped as they had noticed a campfire burning in a nearby clearing. "You all know the plan." The leader whispered to Nico. Nico nodded.

The three men silently drew their weapons. The leader held a three foot long xiphos with the words Anaklusmos engraved on the blade. The remaining two men drew bows and knocked an arrow. The leader suddenly lunged into the camp and decapitated a monster. The monsters proceeded to attack him. He ripped them apart with his sword. Meanwhile the remaining two men climbed the trees and unleashed a salvo of arrows at the unwary monsters. The monsters were decimated within minutes.

"That was fun. Where are we heading now Percy?" Nico asked. "Well, we should make camp. We have only two hours of daylight. Sophia, scout out the forest for a suitable spot to make camp. Nico, gather some wood to make a fire. Zeus has told me to contact him. Something about visitors." Percy said. Sophia and Nico proceeded to do their jobs. Percy iris messaged his uncle. "Ah, Perseus. The hunters are near you. You have to send a signal to them. You covered up your footsteps so well that they could not find you." Zeus said smiling softly. He then cut the call. Percy smiled.

He used one of his powers that he had gained since he became the host of Frey. He transformed into a falcon. He shot into the air. He scanned the ground for the hunters. They were camping next to a lake. It appeared they had taken a break from finding him and his companions. Percy in his peregrine falcon form climbed up and suddenly dove down, aiming straight for the lake. Just as he reached the lake Percy the falcon pulled out of his dive and glided to the shore, slowing down drastically. He landed transforming into a human. This of course startled the hunters. The hunters pulled out their weapons, but calmed down once they found out who the 'intruder' was.

"Where is your camp?" questioned Thalia. "Follow me." Replied Percy. The hunters followed Percy and reached the damaged monster camp. He contacted Sophia. Sophia found a nice little clearing where the three could set up camp. "Meet me in the clearing. I'll help set up camp." Percy said to Sophia. Soon the hunters and Percy were in the area. "Wait, you don't have tents?" An incredulous Thalia said. Percy shrugged. "We don't need the tents. We like to use our surroundings. Percy and his companions set to work. Within minutes they had made three little shelters. The hunters meanwhile had set up their magical tents. The hunters started a nice little campfire.

The three warriors caught up with Thalia. "Hey you want to hop over to the warriors camp?" Percy said to Thalia. Suddenly there was a commotion. Monsters had attacked. The hunter and the three warriors attacked the monsters. Artemis had gone to Olympus to attend the meeting of the winter solstice. The monsters had not expected the three warriors to be with the hunters, so they were decimated. There was a brilliant flash of light. Poseidon had arrived. "Don't worry about the monsters. They merely wished to avenge their mistress. I wish to have a word with you. come" He said. Poseidon took his son to the throne room of Atlantis.

"I have talked this over with my family and they have agreed. Perseus Jackson, will you become the prince of Atlantis alongside Triton?"Percy sat stunned. He had not expected this. "I accept, father." He said. Poseidon's face split in two. "Okay Percy. First we have to teach you about the sea and the ins and outs of ruling. After we do this, the ocean under my command shall be split into two kingdoms. The Pacific and Atlantic. Triton will rule the Atlantic and you shall rule the Pacific. Think of me as the emperor." Poseidon said. For the second time that day Perseus had been shocked. "You can enjoy your time for now. Meet me after sunset at the Santa Monica pier." Poseidon said.

A very stunned Percy walked out of the throne room. Suddenly he bumped into someone. "Hello Perseus" Triton said. Percy's eyes widened. "Triton." He said. "Congratulations brother. I look forward to seeing you here more often. Oh, and a warning. I may have warmed up to you but Amphitrite won't be happy. She has nothing against you but you remind her of father's unfaithfulness. Careful" Warned Triton. "Thanks." Percy replied. "So, wanna explore your soon to be kingdom?" Triton said Grinning. Percy agreed. The siblings swam around in the ocean. The Mariana Trench, Ketoy and the Iony islands being some of the places they visited. By the time it was sunset the brothers had a lot of fun in the Pacific ocean.

Poseidon noticed his son's happy expression. He smiled. "Come Percy. It is time for your training to begin." Poseidon said. Percy smiled. Father and son both arrived at an empty level spot in the sea. "I do not need to brief you in the jobs of a commander as you are good at that. But outside the battlefield a king or prince must behave very differently. The first thing I must teach you is etiquette. You are known for your blunt disrespectful attitude after all." Poseidon said. Percy groaned, but relented nonetheless.

For the next four hours Poseidon drilled a lot of new words into his son's head and taught him how to behave in different situations with different people. "Son you may be an excellent fighter on land, if you throw your powers out of the window you will struggle while you are underwater. Rest up. You will be going to Camp Fish-Blood tomorrow." Said Poseidon. After that he vanished. Percy slept. He happened to have a god contacting him in his dreams. The god happened to be his mother. After a brief talk Hestia bade her son goodbye.
