It was a great evening. The sun was just above the horizon. The water glittered orange. Two figures fought at the bottom snow capped Mt.Logan. The clangs of their swords echoed through the mountains. The first of the two fighters was a twenty four year old woman. Her sea green eyes glittered with amusement. She held two swords, each being two and a half feet long. The other fighter was a 11 year old boy. He held a two feet long bronze sword.

The seven year old was on the defensive, obviously outmatched by the woman. He leapt aside to avoid a swing that would have taken his arm off and lunged towards the woman with his sword moving in a sideways swing. The woman simply blocked the swing and placed a hard kick to the boy's chest. He fell backward. The woman knocked the sword out of the boy's hand. She sheathed her sword and offered the boy her hand. He took it grumbling.

"Oh cheer up little bro. You lasted five minutes against me. That was more than last time." Said the woman. "I know Andromeda. I lasted longer than last time but you were holding back." Said the boy. "Well Percy, I did hold back, but you have to remember, you are not the only one who is training. I have been fighting for longer than you have been alive." Said Andromeda. Just then Sally Jackson walked out of the treeline. "Dinner's ready." She said. "Mom!" Shouted the two. They ran up to her and hugged her. Even though Andromeda was twenty four, Sally still managed to turn her daughter into a seven year old child.

"Back to camp." Said an amused Sally. The two walked through the trees until they reached a clearing. The three Jacksons had stopped living in their tent all through the year. They lived in their enchanted tent only in the summer months, which was ironic since they needed more shelter and protection in the winter, not the summer. In the clearing, there were three little shelters, which would take five minutes to build. The cold didn't really bother the trio. Sally was the daughter of the sun god, and her children were having Poseidon's powers, which enabled them to have resistance to extreme temperature to some extent.

Inside one of the shelters, was a bunch of fruits. They spent some time eating and laughing over the campfire. Andromeda grabbed her jacket and stood up. "Let's break camp and go to the boat. Might as well as go back to the mainland." She said. They broke camp and then began their treck towards the creek. This was where the boat was anchored. There were some things their had to take there. The creek led to the gulf of Alaska. This blue water glimmered. The sun had already set. The Jacksons could see just fine since Sally was using her powers to make herself a human torch.

As a daughter of Apollo she had the ability to manipulate light and bend it to her will. She could even turn herself into light and then reform somewhere else. This was the fastest form of teleportation the gods had access to. It would take most gods a second to circle the globe. For the faster ones, it would take half the time. But deities like Apollo, Artemis and Ra could circle the globe in 0.15 seconds. They turned into light, and therefore moved at the speed of light. Time was meaningless to them while they were in this form. The only downside happened to be the difficulty. It was very hard to master. Sally rarely used this.

Soon the Jacksons reached the boat. Andromeda's mind drifted back to the incident that had happened 8 years ago. She had completed the great prophecy. It was on her sixteenth birthday. It was the first time she had gone teleporting with Sally. She had understood what the lines of the prophecy meant later. A half-blood of the eldest gods shall reach sixteen against all odds. She had reached sixteen, even after having such a dangerous life. The next line, and see the world in endless sleep, referred to the teleportation. She had seen the whole world frozen in a moment, as time stops when they turn into light. Time stopped while she was teleporting as she was moving at the cosmic speed limit.

Hero's soul cursed blade shall reap. Her hand drifted to the scar on her arm. She had been hit by the blade of Alcyoneus. The blade was quite similar to Kronos's scythe, in the sense that it could reap the soul of the victim. She had barely been hit. She had managed to delay the rise of the giant by another decade. A single choice shall end his days, Olympus to preserve or raze. She remembered her companion. She met her full blooded brother. Andromeda had made the choice to let him come with her. It ended with him dead. Well she knew that if she had not let him come it would have ended with Alcyoneus marching to Olympus and destroying it.

Her eyes misted over thinking about the incident, and she forced the thoughts out of her mind. Eventually the Jacksons were ready to go to the mainland. With a simple thought Sally teleported herself and her children to the mainland. They reappeared in their apartment, and Percy promptly proceeded to throw up. Sally and Andromeda laughed at his expense. After getting Percy cleaned up, they decided to explore the city.

Even when it was 11 P.M, there were many vehicles on the roads. As the saying goes, the city never sleeps. There were plenty of new buildings constructed in the empty land nearby, which was expected since they had been gone for eleven years. After a few tricks with the mist, Percy was enrolled into Yancy. Andromeda told him about the fact that she was form the future. When he was little he kept pestering his sister for some stories, but she kept refusing to give away a single detail about the future. As he grew, he realized the dangers of knowing one's future. Soon the three returned home. Sally warned Percy to be careful and not to show his full talent at the camp. It would be better if his enemies underestimated him. Suddenly there was a smell of something burning and a clang of metal hitting the floor.
