8. Valhalla

Percy walked in the streets of Olympus with a wide grin on his face. He had fun with the warriors. Nothing like a little bonding time. Percy merrily walked to the throne room. Percy pushed the doors open. Hestia was sitting near her hearth as usual. Zeus sat on his throne looking grim. "Perseus, we have a problem." He said grimly. "What happened?" Asked a worried Percy. Zeus sighed.

"It's Surt. He attacked some Valkyries and a demigod who were outside Valhalla. The attack was an ambush, so the Valkyries were unable to react quick enough. Five of the ten died. The rest were injured. The demigod was bleeding out, but thankfully Alex Fierro managed to take all of her companions to Valhalla. Magnus Chase did die, but he died in Valhalla, so he was reconstructed." He said.

Percy's eyes widened. Thank chaos Frey was asleep or he would have entered his 'overprotective father mode.' "Njord is helping guard Aiga. Now it is time to return the favor. I will stay in Valhalla for a few days. Besides, Odin also stays there. I'll be taking Zoë." Percy said. "OK nephew, but be careful. You may be a god, but gods can die like monsters do." Zeus said worriedly. Percy teleported to the warriors camp. "Zoë come here for a minute." He said. He told Zoë and Sophia (Who had tagged along) the plan. "I want to come too." Sophia said. Percy agreed. He snapped his fingers. The trio vanished and reappeared in front of a large hotel with the words 'Hotel Valhalla' written on a sign board.

The trio walked in. Percy walked over to Helgi. A few minutes later the trio went to the dining hall wearing name tags with the words, "Visitor, do not harm," written on them. Everyone was eating minding their own business. Odin sat on his throne looking bored. He noticed Percy. "Perseus, heard you were staying here for a few days." Odin said smiling. "Yes Odin. I would appreciate it if your einherjar did not try to kill my friends." Said Percy. After some time breakfast was over. Percy went to Magnus's room to talk to him while Zoë and Sophia went to talk to Mallory. They had met her during the war and became fast friends.

"So Magnus, how are you?" Percy said, smiling at the einherjar. "Okay. Shaken from the attack, but fine." He said. "Your father will wake up soon. I'll let him take control when he wakes up. Talk to him. He does not know what happened. Tell him. He deserves to know. It is not my place to tell him what happened." Percy said. Suddenly Percy's eyes glazed over, and changed color to blue. Frey was in control.

Suddenly he noticed where he was. "Wait what's Percy doing in valhalla. Magnus!" Frey said. "Dad, I need to tell you something." Magnus said. "Yes." Frey said. He had a feeling that he was not going to like what his son told him. Magnus told Frey about the attack. To say he was furious was an understatement. After an hour involving broken stuff and fire, Frey calmed down, but not before giving his son a long rant about being careful.

Frey gave over control to Percy. Percy sighed. "Magnus, do me a favour, don't die. I promised Annabeth to protect you. While I am not Frey, I hold all of his memories, and he holds all of mine. Now I became a god. This is bringing your father and me closer to becoming a single person. We both did not expect this. We both agreed on almost everything. This is what initiated the process. Even now the process has continued so far that Frey cannot leave this body. Eventually both of us will merge to form one person. You are as much a son to me as you are to Frey." Said Percy.

Magnus was stunned. He had not expected this. Percy had told Zoë, Sophia, Hestia, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon about the merging of him and Frey. They were stunned. She ended up accepting it though. Percy seeing Magnus imitate a fish, said, "Close your mouth. You will catch flies." Magnus closed his mouth.

"Hey you wanna go and explore the ocean?" Percy asked Magnus. "Uhh, I'm not sure." Magnus said. "Oh, come on Magnus. I am not Aegir." An amused Percy said. "Ok lets go." Magnus said. Percy grinned. "Before we do all that you need to meet Sophia. Percy then proceeded to drag Magnus to Sophia. "Bye. See you later." Percy said and vanished.

After a few minutes, Magnus broke the silence. "So, your Sophia." He said. Sophia laughed. "Thanks captain obvious." She said sarcasm oozing from her voice. Magnus huffed. Soon Percy was back. He was greeted with the sight of Magnus and Sophia arguing. "New York is way cooler than Boston!" Sophia shouted. "Nuh uh. New York sucks." Magnus shouted back. Percy smiled.

The sight before him reminded him of himself and Thalia. Percy and his cousin argued a lot. Looks like Sophia and Magnus would act like siblings. Percy stepped in. "Both of you stop. New York and Boston suck. Aiga rules." He said. This earned Percy an indignant "hey!" from Magnus and Sophia. Percy grinned. "It's time to go to Aiga. Wait here." Percy quickly called Zoë. Percy, Sophia, Magnus and Zoë vanished.

Soon they reappeared in the middle of a city. Percy grinned as his companions gaped like fishes. "Sorry about the soldiers by the way. The city is on a 24 hour curfew." Percy said. The quartet explored the city. Percy knew the city like the back of his hand. looking at the designs of the city over and over again made sure Percy knew the city very well. The four had a lot of fun. Soon they returned to valhalla and hit the pillow.
