I don’t have much time but, as all great books start, I might as well introduce myself. My name is Ireland Peirce. I’m 15 years old. My brother, Troy, is my twin (although I protest to the mere fact) we are two completely different people. Me, well I have wavy, dark brown hair like my mom except hers was always up in some sort of way, I also have bright green eyes. Oh yah and one tiny little thing we have super powers. How we got this way well that’s what I’m about to tell you.
Our story starts in Little Frack, Ireland.
“Hey, we’re going to be late for school if you don’t hurry up.” Troy said handing me my skate board. Today was our first day of school in Ireland and I was a little nervous. We went downstairs to find my mom setting up the camera.
“You two are too cute.” She said with a smile. We went to the backdoor and headed out to the garden to take pictures.
“Smile!” said mom as she held the shiny, professional camera up to her eyes, she was a photographer. I smiled and posed with my brother like every year. “Click” went the camera.
Finally the pictures are done.
“Bus is here.” I say as a yellow school bus arrives at the end of the driveway. After fifteen minutes or so the bus jolted to a stop and we were at Liberty View High School.
“Well, here it is.” I said
“Yup.” Said Troy as we entered the schools two massive doors. As we walked in we saw three girls walking like they ruled the school. Oh great the plastics of Ireland.
“They’re antagonizing aren’t they?” said a voice beside me. I looked over and there stood a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes to match.
“Yah,” I said “Who are they?”
“The one in the middle is Kate Waters, queen of Liberty View. And to her left is Emily Hill; with a GPA of 5.0 and an amazing track record. Finally to her right is Santana Moore just one of Kate’s loyal companions or friends as she calls them.”
“Wow, I’ve been here for two minutes and I already hate them.”
“Join the club,” She says with a giggle. “Sorry I haven’t introduced myself properly. I’m Madison Stone but you can call me Maddie.” She said with a friendly smile and a hand outstretched and ready to shake.
“Hi I’m Ireland and this is my brother Troy.” I said as I pointed to my brother who looks like he already made friends with the lacrosse players.
“So you seem to be coming at a weird time?” said Maddie
“Yah we move a lot, although I’ve never moved to a new continent before.”
“Oh, where did you move from?” asked Maddie
“The great sunny state of California.” I said gesturing my hands to look like a rainbow and a cheery smile.
“Oh cool, well I don’t want to be late for first period so, see yah later.” Said Maddie as she left with a hand waving goodbye. I waved good bye and we headed to the office.
Once Troy and I reached the office I sat down and waited for the principle.
“Miss and Mr. Peirce,” Said the principle. We got up and headed into the office. “Here take a seat,” I looked back and sat down in the leather seat. “Now, welcome to Liberty View High School. I am principle Wits and here are your schedules.” Mr. Wits said as he handed us white pieces of paper.
“Thanks.” said Troy. “Now you guys can go to your lockers and then to first period.” Said Mr. Wits
“Okay, Thanks again.” said Troy. I pushed open the door and headed to my locker.
