After a couple of minutes of sitting there in the dark I couldn’t stand it anymore.
“We should do something.” I say
“Like what?” asked Jessie
“I don’t know … Mrs. Kelly?”
“I didn’t want to do this until a little later when all of you were more in-control of your powers but I guess in the occasion, it can’t wait. Now Jessie here are keys to a car that will be waiting for you. I want all of you to go up and into the garage, there Jessie will punch in a code and there you guys can take the weapons and follow the G.P.S in the car.”
“Cool weapons!” we shush Troy.
“What about you mom?” asks Jessie
“I will meet you guys at the hideout when it is safe for me to leave. Remember do now, ask later.” She says as she hands me a gun. “Now take this and be safe.”
I click the gun off of safety and open the cellar door carefully. Troy and Jessie follow behind me in a single-file line keeping an eye out for a Hunter. ‘BANG’ I ducked down and looked back at Troy and Jessie to see if they were ok. Everyone was so we proceeded to the garage. Once we reached the garage Jessie punched in the code Mrs. Kelly gave him and it opened up into some sort of hideout for heroes. We all went in and Jessie closed and locked the door after making sure no one had followed us.
“K, so what now?” asked Troy.
“Got a bag?” I pulled back a curtain reveling a ton of weapons.
“Sweet.” Said Troy. Jessie laughed and threw me a bag. We stuffed it full of guns and weapons and then went to find the car Mrs. Kelly had told us was waiting. As we walk down the dark hallway we come upon a red mustang.
“Hey as we are running from people who want to kill us at least we can do it in style.” Says Jessie as he presses the unlock button.
“Your mom said the address should already be in the G.P.S.” Said Troy. Jessie turned the key and a rumble started the car. After the car was started, a door opened reveling a secret exit. Jessie followed it and we ended up exiting onto a road basically in the middle of nowhere.
“Great.” I said as I plopped back onto the seat. “It says we have two hours until we arrive at … H.P.P.”
“What’s that?” asked Jessie
“I guess we are just going to find out when we get there.” Said Troy.
After a very … very long two hours we finally arrive.
“It’s at a rundown building? Smart.” Said Troy
“Please enter your names.” Said a computer at the gates. Jessie put them in and the gate opened up. After driving a mile or so the ground started to open into a driveway that I’m guessing went down to whatever this place is. We followed the dark path until we were stopped by a guard.
“Names.” Said the guard as he looked at a clipboard.
“Ireland Peirce, Troy Peirce, and Jessie Kelly.” Said Troy. The guard lifted his eye brows.
“This way. We will park your car. The President of H.P.P. wishes to speak with you right now.”
“Okay thanks.” Said Jessie as he let me out of the back seat. We walked through the glass doors and into a lobby. We walked up to the front desk and asked where we could find the president’s office. A lady gave us directions and we followed making sure not to take a wrong turn in the giant building. After going through a maze of rooms we finally arrived at the president’s office. We entered the room and waited quietly for the president.
